edwards trial, reveals the reports of flirting >> where it might be wet in the morning. >> hear from a football fan so upset she put up a security camera to catch the thief. >> we begin with the trial of jerry sandusky, all eyes on the former penn state assistant coach tomorrow as jury selection begins. the trial in central pennsylvania. the allegations against sandusky shook penn state to its core. emotions will be running high tomorrow. shomari stone with details on all of this. >> reporter: jim, a judge made a last minute ruling that will definitely affect the alleged victims. eight alleged victim s accusing jerry sandusky of allegedly molesting them will not be allowed to use fake names. the judge ruled they will have to use their real names. all reasonable efforts are being made to protect alleged victims. nbc doesn't name sexual abuse victims.

sandusky under house arrest over seven months. the 68-year-old faces 52 charges he abused the boys over 15 years, allegations he has denied. jury selection begins tomorrow morning at 8:30. 200 prospective jurors will be asked about their feelings about sandusky and any ties to penn state university or the charity sandusky ran. it could be a difficult task in a pennsylvania community that lives and breathes penn state. once the case begins, one legal expert told associated press he expects the defense to make its case in a way that the jury could turn its anger or frustration about joe paterno's firing on the prosecution. now, others think, sandusky's legal team could go on the offensive as to discredit alleged victims. we will have to see what happens. shomari stone, news 4. >> a street fight broke out today in a d.c. neighborhood overcome with emotion. the fight in response to the death of 29-year-old amber kent. her best friend stabbed kent

inside her congress heights apartment this morning, while her young daughter was home. >> i can't even imagine what -- how her child feels to even witness something like that. it is sad. and i just pray for her. >> 31-year-old woman was arrested this afternoon outside malcolm x elementary school. >> two teenagers rescued by good samaritans after their afternoon on water took an unexpected turn. kids were in a sailboat near haynes point when ape gust of wind tipped them over. they were in the water for several minutes before samaritans came along and helped them right the sailboat. the kids were wearing life vests checked by the coast guard and said to be okay. >> a huge crowd in leesburg, virginia to debate what may be the single biggest decision in decades for loudon county whether to extend the metro rail to dulles airport and beyond. jackie benson reports on the passionate testimony. >> reporter: in anticipation of

a july 4th deadline for a vote, more than 100 people showed up to have their voices heard in a matter that could forever change the face of loudon county. an extension of metro rail known as the silver line. loudon would be responsible for $200 million in construction costs and $11 million a year to support operating costs. opponents fear a crippling tax increase. >> i would urge you to opt out of this decision. the power to tax is the power to destroy. that's what chief justice john marshall said in murdoch v maryland years ago. >> reporter: the first phase of the $6 billion silver line is under construction between falls church and reston, scheduled to be completed late last year. >> we are separate from washington, d.c. however a rail out to loudon would solidify the position that we have some connection into the city.

check out this wild ride caught on camera. security video from on board a school bus shows the driver falling out of his seat after hitting a bump in the road. he didn't have his seatbelt on. you can see him trying to steer the thing from the ground. but that bus eventually crashed and went right into a -- a garage. neither the driver nor anyone inside the home was seriously hurt. lucky. tv weatherman in johnson city, tennessee is recovering after somebody broke into his house and shot him with a crossbow. police say gerald taylor went into rob william's house this morning and shot him. the officers say that taylor started, then firing a handgun.
