houston area we could get more rain where we've already been dealing with flooding. the showers push off into the northeast, including new york city, and around the western lakes a chance of showers as well. including florida. if your beach plans take you to tampa or down to miami, you could run into a late tiff day storm. dry through the middle of the country, where we need the rain. we're in an exceptional drought here and it's getting worse. this big dome of high pressure is going to keep it dry and hot, the core of heat right here, tr triple digits expected in the middle of the country, 87 in new york city, 96 in phoenix and a lot of that moisture with the monso monsoon, the rain pushing into the mojave desert and great basin, could cause some flooding especially in the burn areas. flooding expected in yuma, arizona. showers are going to set up through the ohio valley and northeast by sunday.
