6:04 pm
the basement right now. once again, a confirmed tornado on the ground. here's the good piece of this. we're talking about this tornado. but these types of tornadoes are going to be fairly weak. we're talking about tornadoes of 80 to 100 miles an hour winds. we're not talking about major tornadoes. again, any time you have a tornado, 80, 90 mile an hour winds will take down trees. it will break windows. it will produce some damage in that area. so please, if you're in this area, is right on the border here southeastern prince george's county. southeastern or southwestern portions of calvert county and also to the northwestern portions of st. mary's county -- northeastern portions of st. mary's county. take cover immediately right along 231 here. let's turn on the storm track here just to see what is coming out. show you exactly where this is here. moving only at 5 miles an hour. make your way through here in the next 17 minutes, you're talking about areas like birch. this is where the center of that

storm is. not exactly sure where that tornado is located within this storm. but once again, a confirmed tornado. and probably with a storm like this, a lot of rain around that tornado. could be a rain wrapped tornado. it could be fairly hard to see. also a lot of trees in this area. you could see some trees down. you may not see it coming. make sure you stay there for the next half hour or so. once again, tornado warning in effect for this area until 6. 306789 tonight. we're going to be watching this very closely here. let's go over to storm mode here as far as the radar is concerned. take off the composite. let's go to radar and show you exactly where this is here. as we zoom on down. we're looking at it right herement right to the north along 231. down around the bowens area. put the radar back on there if we can. so once again, here it is right here. this is the area that we're going to be watching out for. around bowens and along 506
