florida a & m is pushing for a settlement. robert champion died last november. authorities say he was beating to death during a hazing rituals. 11 members are facing charges, while two are charged with misdemeanors. they have ought pleaded not guilty. champion's family sued claiming university officials did not take enough action to start hazing at the film. prince philip is expected to remain in the hospital for now. the palace says he's responding well, but probably needs a few more days in the hospital. this is his third hospital stay in the past eight months. the 91-year-old prince was hospitalized in june for blade ser infection. in decent he underwent a successful procedure to clear a blocked artery in his heart. he spent christmas in the hospital. turning to the weather now, it's been a beautiful thursday,

head around. >> it took them nine hours toss missie safely off the mountain. the dog's owner is trying to get her back. the climb who rescued missy say they will fight to keep the dog and want to rename her lucky. talking about birds now an exotic bird that apparently escaped is whipping up a lot of attention. >> and a few chuckles. it seemed the birds turned itself into police after attacking a pedestrian. it happened monday afternoon in waltham, massachusetts. officer bill wentworth was at the scene of a car crash when he noticed a commotion nearby. >> apparently the bird was on the roof of the house. the people involved in the descend were trying to get the bird down. it dive bombed, and next thing i knew it flew into the cruiser and sat on my shoulder. >> animal control says it doesn't have any leads on the owner, but the bird is staying

themselves in a different type of high-speed chase. it was a minivan filled with a family of six, as dave mccann, the entire chase was caught on police dash. >> it shows trooper following a dodge caravan. officers had stopped the van earlier, but the driver, robert hills took off. the chase reached speeds of 100 miles an hour. finally the van stopped. officers handcuffed hills. >> please don't hurt my wife or kids. she had nothing to do it. i thought someone was after my. >> reporter: officers then talked to the children's mother. how many kids are in the vehicle in. >> three kids. >> we're not going to hurt your kids, ma'am. >> reporter: as for the kids, they thought they were going fishing. are you okay? >> yeah. we're going fishing? >> you're going to go fishing? >> reporter: hills and his wife were arrested.

this house is teetering on the edge of a river in alaska. it started tilting several weeks ago. parts of the house are already under water. officials say unusually high temperatures have caused glacial melting. the rushing water led to erosion. a young boy in southwest china found himself in a tight situation. while playing with other

sfloo the fallout continues from the highly publicized fight between drake and kris brown at a manhattan nightclub. a company is suing both music stars for $16 million. entertainment enterprises says brown and drake did nothing to stop the brawl between their entourages back in june. the lawsuit also points to accounts of bad blood between the artists, both of whom have dated pop singer rihanna.
