thunderstorms, also some showers throughout portions of eastern texas and louisiana, and just a chance for a few showers in the mi mid-atlantic. still warm through the mississippi valley, 90s in chicago to louisville, 91 upper 70s to 80s from new england into new york, 86, 90 in washington, d.c., still on the cooler side compared to the rest of the country in the pacific northwest, saturday, chance of showers and thunderstorms from louisiana all the way up into the plains, into the northern plains into minnesota, chance for showers and storms. little bit cooler in the northeast for saturday. for sunday, we're going to start to see tropical storm isaac, or whatever it is by the time sunday rolls around, get a little bit closer. it's going to be -- we'll keep an aeye on what's happening in florida because late in the weekend into next week we could have big effects because of isaac. also on monday, a chance for some showers continuing throughout portions of the plains into the great lakes.
