we're hoping we're not seeing snow in this area any time soon. 4:21. time for weather and traffic. here's tom. >> we've had snow down in canaan valley in west virginia.

up to 14 inches of snow fell. there's a few little areas where it's still snowing a little bit. right now storm team 4 radar showing a few sprinkles in western suburbs. fairfax county from reston to near ashburn. farther south to near manassas and prince william county getting a few sprinkles there, as well as along the pennsylvania border in frederick and carroll county and washington county. we still have creeks and streams really near bankful. they're going to be receding. we do have tidal flooding likely around the bay and the potomac. that's likely going to be high tide at alexandria this morning as well as the washington waterfront. at the potomac river, it's going to be cresting tonight 8:00 p.m., about a foot above flood stage. so not really terrible. the river is running really high now, and there's a lot of

debris. it is a chilly morning. we're just to the upper 30s much of the region to low 40. only mid and upper 30s in shenandoah valley. where they're getting the snow, temperatures are around freezing this morning where they got the snow out of the appalachians. storm team 4 forecast. you may see sun out midday, then clouds close back in this afternoon. winds blustery, maybe 20 miles an hour. we'll climb to mid-50s. tomorrow chilly again, upper 30s. more sun tomorrow than today. highs mid-50s. highs mid-50s again on friday and saturday with more sunshine. cold in the morning, only low 30s to near freezing. partly cloudy in the afternoon. high mid-50s. going to say high mid-50s with chilly mornings as well. for the trick or treaters should be good weather for that. let's check traffic with danella. >> good morning, tom. still watching the accident

on the beltway. this is the inner loop. crash involved a tractor-trailer, fuel is on the road. crews working to clear this accident. for now it's blocking two right lanes. you are able to get by. not too many people on the beltway. give crews time to pick up. in vienna, courthouse road is closed at sutton road because of a downed tree in that area and downed wires. this is cedar lane. you're closed at hill top road. if you're taking the beltway in virginia, really toward the wilson bridge, your travel lanes are open. a live look as you make your way towards braddock. you see very light volume. again, travel lanes are open. a carnival ship is not cruising this morning, instead is in the chesapeake bay at least near the calvert cliffs nuclear plant. the baltimore pride tried to travel when sandy kept it from

leaving. guests are still on board and were given credit toward future booking. disney now owns star wars. the deal reportedly cost a little over $4 billion. disney is making a seventh movie in that franchise called episode 7. it's scheduled to be released in 2015. there are plans to follow it with episode 8 and 9. >> my kids will be very excited about that. today san francisco giants fans will get to celebrate their team's world series title. they'll celebrate with a parade for the champions. the team won the clinching game sunday night. this is the team's second world series title in just three years. it is halloween, which means tonight the young and the old alike will be out in force in some places. that does mean some traffic restrictions. a lot of people walking around. police will close off many busy georgetown streets to traffic, "k" street from 30th to wisconsin, water street from
