developed after clinton fainted and hit her head last month. earlier today seen traveling from one part of the hospital to another building before getting the go-ahead to leave. clinton is expected to make a full recovery. >> the house bill that prevented the fiscal cliff is at the white house awaiting the president's signature. law makers are getting ready for the next round of budget talks that could be even more contentious. the first wave will be on spending for medicare, social security and defense. but the biggest debate may be over raising the debt ceiling. right now, both side are suggesting a fight. >> i will not have another debate with this congress over whether or not they should pay the bills that they have already racked up. >> the president things he is not going to negotiate. he better think again. he is president not emperor on the planet. >> a delay on the debt ceiling could do damage to the economy and result in a credit downgrade. >> house speaker john boehner

says the house will vote on part of a sandy aid bill friday. the delay in aid infuriated members of his party and millions along the east coast. the speaker allowed the house to adjourn last night without passing a $60 billion measure. some conservatives are gau tgue bill has too much pork and called the delay stab in the back. new jersey governor chris christie was outspoken in his criticism of congress. >> there is only one group to blame for the continue the suffering of these innocent victim thousands, the house majority and their speaker, john boehner. >> the house will vote for a $9 billion flood insurance program on friday. another vote on the remaining $51 billion of the aid package is supposed to happen january 15th. a neighborhood is in mourning tonight after being unable to rescue a man from a burning house. they were unable to go in there because of his hunting ammunition exploding. the man was screaming for hem from his mobile home and

can't imagine themselves mine position. and they're just a result of very, very bad bureaucracy. >> ross wants to get his wife back. he hopes the next chapter in his love story will include the companionship he thought would follow the wedding. in herndon, richard jordan, news 4. a man on death row in virginia might be able to walk out of prison tomorrow free. justin wolf, sentenced to death for the 2001 murder of a drug dealer in prince william county in virginia. prosecutors say wolf hired another man to kill him because he owed him money. that man, owen barber, testified against wolf in exchange for a lilt lighter sentence. the judge threw out wolf's conviction. he said barber had lied. today a judge in prince william county ordered wolf set free tomorrow. his parents say they are grateful for that decision. >> we are just so relieved. but still concerned over the

police are trying to find who it was that left a grenade outside a tire store in vienna, virginia. employees of merchant tire on maple avenue found a hand grenade this morning. it was a lot of traffic problems there when they shut it down for a while. the robot picked up the grenade carried it to a safe low kagcat. internal components were already removed. there was no danger. >> tough day tomorrow, students

from sandy hook elementary school will return to class since the deady shootings. going to an empty school seven miles away. sandy hook where 20 children and six educators were killed is a crime scene. classrooms in the new school are set up to look the game to make the children feel comfortable. there will be a visible, heavy police presence around the area. >> vultures are causing all kind of problems in leesburg, virginia. about 200 of them, nesting in a neighborhood around mayfair drive and plaza streets in the northeast part of down. every day next week, wildlife officials plan to set off fireworks, lasers and noise makers. they're going to try to disrupt the vul churz atures and chase away. they're important for the environment but can cause trouble when they make their homes in residential areas and tend to damage roofs by picking at them and waste can cause health concerns. a cold night tonight for bird or

gaithersburg. 28 in winchester. 27 in culpeper. the numbers would be lower by now if it were not for the cloud cover. we are seeing a lot of cloud streaming across the area. didn't see a lot of cloud this afternoon. we do see the clouds now. i actually raised the low temperature. maybe not seeing as many teens as i was inging about earlier. radar, not a whole lot of rain in our region. really not in our region. anywhere across the united states. a very quiet pattern. it is going to continue to be so over the next couple days. here is what i am talking about. the cloud cover. some radar echos to the south. not hitting the ground. this know it rain to the south. we are just dealing with the cloud. should get out by tomorrow morning. that will allow us to cool off. we are looking at a cold start to the morning tomorrow. breezy and cold. that's what we saw. tomorrow, less of a breeze. still on the chilly side. even with sunshine tomorrow. we will see plenty of sun.

i'm jackie benson, live in adams morgan. a grim discovery. we told you a drinking at a bar with some people at about 2. 30 in the morning. new year's day. moments ago we understand there was a body found, a bed that had apparently fall in through a roof shaft to the lower floors of a property here in adams morgan. dozens of d.c. police cars are there as well as the many friend and family members who have been searched for michael poe.
