they still want him to serve 25 years in prison. melaku pleaded guilty to shooting at the pentagon and military buildings in 2010. no one was hurt. but cost $100,000 in damages. a shotgun its at the center of a really scary crime spree in the district. d.c. police are warning people in northeast d.c. after six robberies between christmas eve and new year's eve. two suspects used a sthhotgun t threaten people walking the streets. they demanded wall else. purses, cell phones. >> preventing gun violence led to the first bill introduced in the 113th congress. northern virginia's jim moran submitted hr 21 which would require background checks for every gun purchase and every gun shop employee. gun owners would be required to notify police when guns are lost or stolen.

agents with the transportation security administration said they smelled alcohol on the pilot before he got on the plane. police were called. the pilot was given breathalyzer. then they took him off the plane. passengers had not yet begin to board the airplane. american airlines, which owns american eagle, says, it is conducting a full internal investigation. a small plane crashed into a house in central florida today. the woman inside that house got out without a scratch. the three people on the plane were killed. the plane took off from daytona beach this afternoon. it was headed to knoxville, ten see. the pilot reported that the plane was shaking. he was frying to take an emergency landing. but he crashed about a mile away from the airport. mourners honored prince william county police officer, chris young, taucalling him an amazing officer, father and man. hundred filled a chapel in woodbridge, virginia for a final farewell. killed when his motorcycle

passengers on ain't national flight to jfk airport taped up a fellow passenger to his seat. they say he was drunk, totally out of control. a witness took this photograph of the man on the plane, the plane took off yesterday from iceland. that man reportedly tried to choke a woman next to him. he was screaming that the plane was going to crash. port authority in new york

confirms that they did take a drunk passenger into custody after that plane landed. but for some reason the man was not charged. >> the outrage over a teen rain case has spread from a small town to pill yunz millions of p line. in august, two ohio football players were charged with raping an unconscious girl and carrying her from party to party. a hacker group is posting photos and video that proves more people should be charged. the group is called anonymous. the group appropriate tested outside the courthouse in tubenville, ohio. they claim investigators are trying to cover up the case because football is an important sport. one video shows a teen laughing abut the rain. >> i saw it today. it is disgusting. i have had people call here, and people call here upset. they have seen it. one woman, two women were crying. >> the 16-year-old boys are charged as juveniles. they will go on trial in
