you guys tell us if you agree or disagree. >> "prevention" magazine says this. >> right. so they say that what makes us the happiest on tuesday is thinking about thursday. does that do it? thumbs up or thumbs down? >> thinking about friday. agree to disagree. >> they say thursdays. for me doesn't it really come down to what you're going to be doing it that day and who you're going to be doing it with? it could be a lousy nothing day. but if you're going to have lunch with your friend you haven't seen in two years? you've got to make a day what you want it to be, hoda woman. >> exactly. i'm enjoying this tuesday. >> yes. >> the other thing that they say may make you feel better on a tuesday is to go watch a tear jerker movie. >> like "beaches." >> because when you look at how sad some people's lives are yours feels better. >> it's like everything's relative concept. >> they say doing less for your kids makes you happier.

because if you invest everything in your children's lives, pretty soon they're off on their on and there your with nothing. do you think that's true? >> had you had children, hoda woman. >> i love children. >> what kind of mother do you think you would have been? do you think you would have been a helicopter mom? >> i don't think so. because my parents weren't like that. so i don't think i would have been like that. you're not like that with your kids. >> i think it's really important that you super discipline your kids, really discipline them. give them limits so they know what the limits are. and then let them test the limits as they get older and older and older. but no, the hardest thing in the world to do is let go as a parent, right, you guys? yeah. >> i do think a lot of parents do, once their kids leave for college it's that whole sad, horrible empty nest thing that happens. you can tell why -- >> that's why i'm in california because my kids are here. >> yes, you are. you're still chasing your children. >> they moved away from mommy but mommy won't let them go. do you want to do something about our signs? want to give something away?

>> let's see some signs. so the "the real housewives of ventura county." i'm kind of liking california dreaming. >> california dreaming on the right. i like that. >> i do like the california and the wining. we like that she cut up "people" magazine and put it on the poster. i like it. we are going to pick in a couple of minutes. we'll pow wow about that in a second. >> they say looking at other people's postings on facebook makes you unhappy. because they're all on vacation and you're at home. or they've just won an award and you didn't. >> you weren't even nominated. >> their kids just got straight a's and yours didn't. >> but how much of it is true that people actually put on facebook? don't they just -- i mean, isn't it easy like so easy to lie about stuff? >> yeah. but i think they take their best days ever and put them on. so i think you feel crumby about

your day. >> false happiness or something to me. i just think it's so sad that somebody's just on facebook all day long looking at other people's lives and not living their own. >> i do that sometimes. i do. i mean, but you want to see what everyone's up to. but then you don't realize -- >> what if they're not up to it? >> but they are. then you feel like wow. i have to seau can get a little envious. i don't want to, and i hate myself when i'm doing it. but i'm like she has such a cute boyfriend. or her life seems happy. >> it's momentary. >> hence the special drink we have. >> it will change by tomorrow. >> exactly. but likehe weather don't get used to it. things change. >> you guys, we have some bizarre hotels. we want to direct you up to the big screen because you'll be able to see them better here. but these are some of the strangest and craziest hotel ideas. and since this is president's day weekend a lot of people will be going away. the first pick is called the sheep wagon in nebraska. so you could actually say that you stayed --
