the budget as the president used his 100th day in office to define his stan on syrian intervention and guantanamo bay. tracie potts is live in washington with all the details. >> reporter: as you can hear, there's a lot going on with this second term agenda the president trying to deal with it all and in anticipation of this trip to mexico, immigration reform he thinks has a pretty good chance of passing unlike gun control, unlike the budget issue with those sequester cuts now in place. but the president also had some new challenges to deal with like syria. here's what he said about verifying information before we act. >> if we end up rushing to judgment without hard effective evidence, then we can find ourselves in a position where we can't mobilize the international community to support what we do. >> reporter: the president wants to go back to something he was unable to do in his first year,

making it available beyond pharmacy hours. new video has surfaced showing what appear to be the final seconds of a tragic cargo flight. a car's dashboard cam captured the plane crashing to the ground shortly after takeoff killing all seven members on board. the video is very disturbing. a military official say this appears to be the civilian cargo plane that crashed monday after takeoff from an air field in afghanistan. six of the crew members was from michigan the seventh from kentucky. now to the latest in boston bombing case. the nation's top intelligence chief is ordering an across the

board review in the wake of new accusations. director of national intelligence is directing agencies to look into the handling of information received prior to the attack. questions are being asked about whether the u.s. should have known one of the suspects older brother tamerlan tsarnaev posed a security threat. tamerlan's body has not been claimed. his widow catherine russell is asking for his remains to be released to his family. investigators spent hours interviewing the 24-year-old over the past week. a new poll shows an overwhelming number of americans favor public surveillance. cameras provided key clues in the case including identifying the suspects. after news the suspects learned how to make explosives on the internet more than two-thirds of americans say that type of information should not be allowed online. so even though it's may today parts of the midwest supposedly are still dealing with winter-like weather. >> are you sure?

welcome back. we talked about the snow in the midwest but we'll have a few strong thunderstorms. not widespread not an outbreak, not many tornadoes. we could see large hail and damaging winds in a large area here pretty much every west of oklahoma city, dallas from austin back here towards central texas including abilene. large hail the biggest threat. temperatures today wild ride all the warm air pumps to the eastern half of the country, very nice for atlanta up through boston today but look at the midwest. we really have about 40 degree temperature difference in a small area from minneapolis to chicago. chicago by the way goes from 83 today to 66 tomorrow as the cold air begins to push your way. >> what a dip. turning now to entertainment, dalton abbey fans can dress like their favorite character.
