one person is dead and three are missing after a flush -- flash flooding and mudslides. near's body was found colorado springs, colorado. richard reeve has more. has made forrains extremely dangerous conditions on some colorado roadways. muddying and is being a liquid avalanche. searchers are looking for survivors in the twisted metal and mud. >> a desperate plea. along a colorado highway, it was transformed into a raging current. a man is trapped and trying to decide what to do. and then -- >> no! >> is he ok? >> i do not know. >> the summer storms have dumped two feet of rain and the plane -- plain states.

>> you are watching abc 7 news at 6:00, on your side. >> searches have recovered the bodies of a plane that crashed in connecticut. two of the victims have been identified. it is a father and his son, maxwell. were childrenims inside the homes. they will be identified later today. they were heading to new haven when they crashed. the cause is under investigation. >> the manhunt for a murder suspect and a teenage girl he has adopted has shifted -- abducted has shifted to idaho. they are hoping to find a 16- year-old hannah anderson and james dimaggio.

it will be a great night. no need to worry about the rain. winds out of the south at about eight miles per hour. the high today was 83 degrees. the record was 98 in 2010. children's hospital, no rain to speak of. we had a high of 85. a 10th of an inch of rain earlier this afternoon. we had a high of 84 in fredericksburg. temperatures, 82 in cumberland. dulles. at a cold front will come to us slowly. system thatfunnel brought us showers and thunderstorms. as it moves north, clouds will increase. that will not happen until later

on tomorrow. we will have a chance for some patchy cloud to develop. havingongest storms are the north carolina and virginia border. it will move northward. that will increase chances for showers and storms in the afternoon tomorrow. ,ooking at the doppler radar this'll move toward ocean city. the futurecast looks like this. hours, a chance for a shower or two in the middle of the day tomorrow. by monday, temperatures will be back in the 80's. better chance for showers and storms and a cold front on tuesday. here is our graph showing temperatures falling overnight. falling into the 70's. highs will make it around 80-85. be prepared for some scattered showers. it will not be a washout.
