movie's release. sometimes you see a movie and it is 2015, 2016, coming soon. i've been to the movie theater, you get your seat, and in new york you have to be early to sit with who you came with. i've gone to movies 15 to 20 minutes before and you have to sit there and they have to sit there. >> you've also gone alone, which you're proud of. >> i do that. because it is dark and you're by yourself anyway. really you're just watching. nothing wrong with that. >> nothing wrong with it. i'm just asking what is -- you can't legislate that, right? people don't -- theater owners don't have to play the previews, do they? are they legally required to? >> i don't -- usually i get -- after the fourth one, everyone goes -- you hear the audience collectively sigh, like, oh, my god, another preview. i do like them when there is a movie i'm crazy about seeing, every preview is usually exactly in that genre and i think i can see that, i can see that, i can see that. >> i hate when they give away the best stuff, though. they have to be careful not to do that. i don't like it when you buy a dvd. the other day i watched such a great movie.

good questions. they stand up and go, hey, will you say hello to my grandmother. i'm, like, my god, that's not a question. >> interact with the audience, they play with you? >> i run everything from an ipad. >> what? >> yeah. >> you know how to do that? >> it didn't work properly before. it worked for two shows and then shut itself off. i have like 32 potential questions. when someone of them have 16 or 17 pictures. they wanted know do an 85-minute show and i looked at them and laughed. i said, first of all -- >> that's two of your songs. >> exactly right. so we kept running and they had a show following and we were supposed to give them a half hour to turn over. and one night we went about seven minutes before they were supposed to go on. they were the -- the cast was great, the producers of the show that didn't like it. >> you to like the singing better or the acting part, when you're on stage? >> i like the acting. yeah. there is some stuff i love singing, "bat out of hell" i love singing, "revved up," "paradise," i love.
