investigators will look at. >> this jusz in. no one checked the database for two stolen passports. an austrian and italian reported passports stolen a year ago. two boarded the plane with the stolen passports. >> a team of u.s. federal investigators are on their way to asia to help with the investigation. derrick ward is live outside the ntsb headquarters in downtown d.c. what's new derek? >> reporter: weree're ht the plaza. this is a nexus for agencies involved. ntsb, faa and department of transportation. they're in this same general area. it's not clear which country will lead the investigation into the plane's days appearance. the ntsb go team has been dispatched in route because of the travel time to malaysia, they were dispatched last night. we're learning there are u.s. resources operating near the

he was with another guy on a bike that left the scene. the bike involved in the crash was stolen. speed was a factor. as for the suv driver, that person is in serious but stable condition. this morning, arundel county police are looking for whoever set off fireworks inside the mall movie theater. yesterday afternoon, police were called to the mall on a report of shots being fired. turned out the sound wasn't gunfire but the fireworks going off in the theater. no word on what kind of fireworks were used. no one was hurt. a woman is in serious condition after she was not in the head during a robbery. police are working to identify this man here. police say he went into the fast mart store on brock road yesterday morning and pretended he was ready to buy something. when the clerk turned around, he shot her twice. fellow coworkers were shocked. >> robbery never got my

fire officials in montgomery county working to find out what sparked this massive fire out in montgomery village. one family is homeless this morning after this fire destroyed their condo there. itself happened on club lake road in montgomery county. the fire we are told started many the empty condo and spread to two other units.

new this morning, a plane and sky diver collide in midair. it's caught on camera. the sky diver was coming back to the ground as the private plane was taking off. the 87-year-old pilot was practicing takeoffs and landings at the airfield. the plane hit the man and started to nose dive. the photographer who captured the crash couldn't believe his eyes. >> as soon as i heard the thump of the airplane catching the canopy, it went all blank there. i stared through the lenses like is this happening? the sky driver was thrown before he crashed to the ground. the pilot and sky diver went to the hospital, but they're going to be okay. >> incredibly lucky there. a south carolina woman is s
