now. either calm or only at about eight miles per hour. it will be a little breezy later today. but again, i have to stress absolutely nothing like what we experienced yesterday. here's the satellite and radar image. clouds moving through. we will have cloudiness until about 8:00 a.m. after that, it's a sun-filled day. high temperatures today, 25 degrees warmer than they were yesterday. high around 60. i'll be walking you throughout the day hour by hour in ten minutes. how are the roads? >> they're good. eun and i are talking about the snow. it is getting violent. she said she's going to take a snow shovel to the cameras and see how it snows on monday. man, amelia, fingers crossed it just light? on monday. we do not want to see eun go off. now, let's talk about this accident i'm tracking, i-95 southbound. just south of prince william parkway. five vehicles are reportedly involved in. it is blocking the right lane. a brief delay for folks traveling southbound.

it's unusual. here's the drive time for you guys so far. as you approach the accident, you're under speed at 36 miles per hour. just head over to the left side of the roadway to get around it. still tracking a westbound broken down vehicle on dumfries road at pleasant road. this is blocking the right lane. aaron, hide the shovels from eun. >> i guess. >> thanks. 6:02. we are following developing news in southeast washington. d.c. police are investigating a murder on bowen road and sayles place. police were called to reports of shots fired just before midnight. when they arrived, they found the man dead in the middle of the street. police say they are waiting until the sun comes up so they can continue gathering evidence. this is the 26th murder in d.c. so far this year. classes canceled today at this alexandria elementary school. administrators trying desperately to contain a stomach virus that's made more than 200 students and teachers sick. news4's richard jordan is live

now with the latest. richard? >> reporter: this is onadams elementary school on rayburn street in alexandria. typically students would be excited to have a day off, but a lot of them are sick at home with this pretty bad stomach bug. this is widespread. several people sick here. you've got about 200 students, then 30 faculty members just yesterday. the administration had to send 50 kids home early because they were showing symptoms. the school believes they've got a case of norovirus here. that means the students are complaining of nausea, vomiting, in some cases they have diarrhea. this is a pretty serious and very contagious virus here that they're dealing with. it spreads really quick. not only from person to person but just touching a contaminated surface could get you sick. that's why the school is cleaning out -- the school building today. they've got a professional cleaning crew here scrubbing the school building. they've also got a plan to disinfect the school over the next few days. parents who have healthy kids who were here picking up kids

yesterday say they are glad the school has take then precaution. they don't want their kids to get sick. of course the school is also asking any parents whose student is sick if come monday they still are not feeling better, they should stay home for an extra day. the last thing they want is to go through this entire cleaning process, then have a sick student come back in and start the contamination all over again. again, john adams elementary closed, back open on monday. reporting live in alexandria, richard jordan, news4. it is now 6:04. jury selection begins today in the court-martial of a former navy football player accused of sexual assault. prosecutors say joshua tate assaulted a classmate during an off-campus party. she says she was too drunk to remember what happened but later heard she had sex with several people. tate says the sex was consensual. two other midshipmen were predicted at first. tate -- implicated at first. tate is the only one still charged. a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint.

we showed you this surveillance video yesterday. d.c. police say the man in the video is 22-year-old gerald cante. in addition to the sexual assault, police say he kidnapped a woman and two girls at gunpoint. all of the crimes happened last week in northeast washington. this morning police in prince george's county need your help finding a bank robber. take a look at this. this man held up the wells fargo on route 1 near east-west highway in riverdale yesterday afternoon. you can see he's holding what looks like a knife in this picture. in addition to that redskins hat, he was also wearing a black coat, black pants, and timberland boots. if you recognize him, call police. 6:05. the search and recovery mission for the missing malaysia airlines passenger jet is getting wider. india is sending crews west of the andaman islands in the indian ocean. malaysia is asking vietnam to send planes and ships to the straits of malacca. casting this wider net comes after a u.s. official said the plane cents signals to a

satellite for four hours after the last contact with air traffic control. today marks one week since the plane disappeared with 239 people on board. 6:05. help may be on the way soon for millions of americans who are out of work. a bipartisan group of senators has reached a deal to extend long-term unemployment benefits for five months. the deal would be retroactive to the end of last year. that's when emergency benefit expired. the senate will vote on the measure when it returns from recess later this month. if it does pass, there's no guarantee it will survive in the republican-controlled house. people ran from a plane after the landing gear collapsed. new this morning, the work underway to move the damaged plane and get things back to normal. check your kids' car seat carefully this morning. the problem that could force you to cut the belt to free your child. plus, pretty cold so far this morning. get ready for the temperatures you see on your screen. they will be climbing.

at 6:09, a huge recall and may be more to come. greg oh children's products adding -- graco children's products adding car seats to the recalls. the curved belt buckle can become stuck, forcing parents to cut children free from the seat. the new numbers include car seats for children but not infants which have the same kind of buckle. if they recall those infant seats, this will be the biggest child seat recall in american history. united airlines offering travelers an easy way to pass the time while flying. later this year, united will start streaming more than 150 movies and 200 tv shows for its flyers. passengers have to download the
