scandal first broke we have waited to see johnny williams, waited to hear from him. only photos up until this point. today that all changed. johnny williams came to the courthouse to give his testimony. this was the scene moments ago as he left the courthouse. surrounded by the crush of media. inside johnny williams began to tell us all the about his relationship with the former governor and first lady. for months he's been the central figure in the government's corruption investigation into the former first couple. but we've seen him only in photos posing with maureen mcdonnell. today in the flesh, given immunity to testify against his former first friends. depre dressed a businessman he is he explained to prosecutors why he originally wanted to meet the governor. he's a politician and i'm a businessman. williams said he first met in new york city just after the

election and maureen had an issue. she said i have a problem. i have to come one a dress to wear for a inauguration. i told her i'd help her get a dress. what did she tell the governor? this is great. johnny's going to help me get a dress for the inauguration. but williams said it didn't happen. a lawyer called the nix the plan. but that didn't stop williams. prosecutors he gave mcdonnells and the children more than 150,000 dollars in exchange for promoting his pet product, a dietary supplement. earlier today his long time assistant testified she was often the one making arrangements for the mcdonnell trips and signing the checks forging johnny williams' name. she's been given immunity to testify. all the things he gave the family. golf outings, vacations, yacht rentals, use of the private plane, loans and a $10,000

together. the stabbing happened on a green line train enrout to branch avenue just after 4:30 this afternoon. police say the man on the train approached the 15-year-old and stabbed the teen in the back. we spoke to the victim's friends. they were witnesses. here is what they told us. >> he was just at my friend like you're ugly. you got this hair, are you a man? will you a m are you ma man and he pulled out a knife and stabbed my friend. he was -- i had to protect my friend. >> reporter: the teenager's friend said he appeared to be in pretty bad shape. but police tell us they believe that the teenager will recover. now police had to chase down the suspect. they did arrest him outside here at the fort totten station and we should mention also that service was not interrupted and will not be interrupted this evening. live in northeast christen

wright news4. he's 13 and charged with attempted murder. late this afternoon officered arrested him in connection with a shooting in wheaten. news4's pat collins is live at the scene. >> reporter: when the 13-year-old teenage boy arrested and charged with attempted murder. the victim an 18-year-old teenage girl. she was shot a number of times in the arm and in the back. she's out of the hospital tonight. they say she'll be okay. it happened after 5:00 this mompb r morning near the intersection of pliers mill road in saint margaret's way. it was here four teenage girls agreed to meet three teenage boys. suddenly things got out of hand. in the grass on the front lawn of this house, police say the meeting between the teenage boys and teenage girls gets

confrontational. one of the teenage girl, an 18-year-old ends up on the ground. one of the teenage boy, possibly as young as 13 stands over her with a gun and fires a number of shots. she's wounded a number of times. those boys then make their get away by car. jennifer flores lives nearby. >> it was like a group of girls. more than one. several. >> and they were screaming? >> yeah and then i heard gunshots. >> how many? >> about two. and then i just heard everything went quiet. >> the teenage girls and the teenage boys involved know each other. police say before it happened they were texting back and forth. detectives, some wearing rubber gloves back at the scene today going through bushes and the brush. some of them actually climbing down sewers here looking for evidence in this troubling attempted murder case. this is what people are saying about this violent attack here

who slipped out of court while the jury was deliberating his fate. michael anderson was on trial for robbing a liquor store in 2012. he got out of the courthouse as the jury deliberated yesterday and manage told get away. the jury did convict him for that robbery. he'll be sentenced as soon as he's back in custody. new details about what led up to an officer shooting a man in the district early this morning. started with a report of a robbery around minnesota avenue near pennsylvania avenue in southeast. officers say a guy who matched the description of the suspect started shooting at them first. the man identified as antwon price was shot when one of the officers returned fire. he was taken to the hospital hospital and will be charged. none of the officers was hurt. 16 killed when an israeli air strike hit a market in gaza. the market was crowded because residents thought a cease fire was in place. th had multiple
