a personal friend. >> williams also testified that maureen mcdonnell told him about the former governor's financial troubles and prosecutors say he provided the gifts in exchange for promotion of his new diet supplement. julie kerry will tweet all thde. right now a search for two missing people in our area. the first is out of montgomery county. 60-year-old susan hendrickson. she was last seen monday at her home on home crest road in silver spring. police say her family is worried about her emotional well-being. and in fairfax county, police are looking for 49-year-old ishmael elmis, he's blifed to be armed and dangerous. he left his home in vienna in a gray toyota prius. they have not seen or heard from him since tuesday. he may have a gun with him.

welcome back. it will be a busy day for the first couple. first lady michelle obama will speak at a conference aimed at ending homelessness among veterans. the national conference will take place today in the district. mrs. obama is expected to discuss new initiatives to get former service members off the streets and into stable environments. the group along with the first lady is aimed at ending veteran homelessness by 2016. and later today, the first family will welcome olympians to

security forces will be called into quarantine epicenters of the disease in the eastern section of the country. this move resembles a tough anti-ebola stance taken on by neighboring liberia. the country's president also announcing that he has canceled a planned trip to washington in the wake of all of this. sierra leone has the highest number of cases of ebola and more than 200 people have died so far. it has been difficult to get a handle on the outbreak in part because relatives of some patients are refusing to allow medical staff to help the sick. i'm molette green at the live desk. back to you. it is now 4:45. here at home, a maryland family is remembering a relative who recently died after travel to go liberia. nathaniel dennis tested negative for ebola and his family considers his death a mystery. the 24-year-old was visiting family when he suddenly started having seizures. he was in a coma for over a week

in liberia, stuck in the quarantine. his family was raising money to bring him back to the u.s. when he died. >> we're all devastated. we tried as hard as we could. we'd like to bring his body back and give him a proper burial. >> last night the family hosted a fund-raiser and raised more than $10,000 to help pay for the funeral. today lawyers will wrap up their case for a metro driver charged with assault while driving a woman to bowie. the woman claims he pulled his bus over and said he said hurt her if she did not take off hr pants. closing arguments are set to begin at 9:00 a.m.. you may remember this man for his forehead tattoo. michael bailey shot one of his neighbors and engaged police in a six hour standoff in fredericksburg last year. according to the fredericksburg star, bailey was sentenced to 88

years for that crime. this morning a rockville doctor is in jail for allegedly running a mill mill. his name is silviu ziscovici, known as dr. z. prosecutors say from 2009 to 2013, me hundreds of thousands of dollars selling pre-skriscri drugs. one of the patients died from using methadone for no medical reason. >> an allege people were coming from outside the state of maryland because they knew that there was a doctor in maryland who would be willing to prescribe pills without proper medical purpose. >> ziscovici faces a mandatory 20 years to life for the patient's death and 20 years for each of the 29 counts of it i y distribution. i'm molette green at the live desk. a u.p.s. plane emergency landing, we're hearing reports

vote ares who recently moved within the state. the letter should have been september sent to people who moved out of the state. the letter asked residents to update or cancel voter registration. virginia official will send followup letters to reassure voters their registrations were not canceled. we're learning more about a lawsuit filed against the metro transit authority. lawyers filed the suit yesterday on behalf of nine african-american men who were fired by metro. they say a criminal background screening bars workers who have any criminal history even if it's decades in the past. most of the workers in the suit were convicted of nonviolent drug felonies, african-americans account for 90% of drug convictions in the district. a mom is suing trimpers
