her youngest child. 20-year-old everett brown was shot and killed over the weekend in cottage city. one man thinks he heard the gunshots. darcy spencer spoke to him and brown where's family. >> he was my omega, my helper. he was the world to me. >> he was the youngest son and is now gone. he was shot to death on a popular trail. >> he was a good-hearteded child. >> relatives gather at their home, not for a family barbecue, but to support each other and try to figure out why brown's life was taken. >> is there anything else you want to say? >> i hope whoever did it gets arrested and does the time they need to serve for the murder of my son. someone on the river trail found brown's body a couple hundred yards down the path.
