>> now the university issued a statement saying proper medical precautions have been taken and that students don't need to take any additional action. but if they are concerned about their health they are urged to visit the student health center. there's a new lead tonight in one of the most notorious cold cases in our area. shiela and kathy ireland went missing. something led detectives to b bedford county virginia in a town called faxton. looking at a property belonging to welch. >> montgomery county detectives are working with state police and sheriff office on what is

described as a homicide investigation. it is deeply wooded out here. let met show you a map of the terrain. the land was once owned by the family of michael welch. back in february montgomery county police named him as a person of interest possibly connected to the lion sisters who vanished in 1975 after walking back from the mall. no one has seen or heard from them ever since. welch is a convicted sex owe fender. offender. been locked up since 1997. sheriff has been out here since last week. sources tell news 4 that detectives are following up on leads but police haven't said what specific lead led to this property. they have not found remains. a lot of folks are wondering

ago adjustments for a missing u.va student. the video came from a pub in charlottesville that shows second year student hannah standing outside before walking in an easterly direction. that was the last time she was seen. photos wer released of graham friday night. the mother of a woman who went missing in 2009 and later found dead says she was struck by the similarities. >> it's heart breaking to know another young woman is missing and another family is going through the anguish of the missing period. >> graham's parents released the statement saying they are heartbroken by the disappearance and heartened by the outpouring of support.

now with the latest on a wildfire still spreading in california. >> this blaze is burning just east of sacramento. at this hour, only five percent is contained. schools in this area have decided to close for another day. the fire crews just don't know what the blaze will do next. mandatory evacuations also under way. starched over 12,000 acres. threatening more than a thousand homes. ground and air crew are working to extinguish those flames. this is one of 12 flames burning in california. police are looking for a man armed and extremely dangerous. an arrest warrant has been issued for him but he's still on the loose. investigators say he is a

we're talk being a little chill in the air and that's not the first time, that's not the only time in the next seven day that's we'll be dealing with that. tomorrow high temperatures 73-78. take the jacket in the morning, won't need it by lunch. another beauty tomorrow as we deal with plenty of sunshine moving through the next couple days. 76 on friday. back in the 50s, meaning the suburbs are in the 40s. that's going to be the trend right on through the day on sunday. sunday gets up to 83 degrees. we will see a warm up as we see the frontal boundary coming through late sunday into monday. dropping temperatures sunday into monday. could impact tuesday as a storm system could develop on tuesday.
