of hannah graham. >> graham has been missing for nine days now. police tell us they have enough evidence tonight to charge with matthew with her abduction. good evening everybody. >> the charge jesse matthew is facing now is a felony. jackie is at the live desk to explain how it could lead to a quick arrest. >> this development is significant. police are officially saying, we believe this man took hannah with the intent of sexually assaulting her. the new charges will allow the fbi to use its extensive resources to pursue jesse matthew under a law known as the federal fugitive felon act. >> this afternoon we reached that point where the common wealth felt we had probable cause to seek an arrest warrant for jesse lee roy matthew jr.

charging him with a class two felony of abduction with intent to defile. >> they hope it will lead to a huge step forward for the search for 18-year-old zbraj. hannah graham. matthew was seen with graham moments before she disappeared on september 13th. chief would not specify what evidence led to the new charge he has confirmed clothing items were released yesterday and sent to a lab for analysis. >> our investigation is still we still have some information that we hope te in the next couple days. that is related to our case. >> on sunday police issued an arrest warrant for two counts of wreckless driving. after he met with a lawyer
