6:00 pm
while the u.s. and arab allies continue to pound isis in syria, officials in iraq say they have foiled a terror plot that targeted subway systems here in the u.s. >> yeah, we have team coverage. news4's adam tuss, what they're doing to keep people safe. steve handelsman is in new york. steve? >> reporter: here in new york city, president obama had no comment about the new warning that isis planned an attack on the u.s. home land. the day after he met mr. obama, iraq's new prime minister caused the stir, claim fighters told iraqi intelligence had a plot to attack somewhere in the u.s. and to attack paris subways. u.s. intelligence estimates one dozen isis fighters with american passports have returned to the u.s. and the fbi admits it's hard to
6:01 pm
track isis intentions. but numerous sources say u.s. intelligence has no credible evidence of isis plots on the u.s. >> we have to take with a grain of salt any reporting from the iraqi services. >> reporter: it's the khorasan, struck in syria tuesday, and al qaeda in yemen that u.s. officials fear more. they say those groups are working on bombing u.s. airliners. as he shuttled between meetings, president obama got good news about his coalition to fight all the groups. the french may join in strikes in syria. germany delivered arms to anti isis kurds. and the pentagon said most of the war planes flown yesterday were not american. instead, from saudi arabia and the uae in strikes on profitable isis oil refineries. >> strategic attacks meant specifically to get at the way that this group sustains, leads and controls itself. there will be more. >> reporter: to destroy isis and the like before they can strike
6:02 pm
in the u.s. to try to keep isis fighters out of america, the fbi director says there is an intense focus now to try to identify two specific terrorists seen in isis videos, both of whom sound like they have u.s. or canadian accents. and the director of the fbi says despite that report or warning from the new prime minister of iraq, the threat to america this week is no worse than it was last. live from the u.n. in new york, i'm steve habndlesman, news4. metro officials say they're aware of reports of the isis threat. the transit agency says it has not changed its security level. but they say they're always vigilant when it comes to keeping riders safe. our coverage continues now with transportation reporter adam tuss. he's outside the gallery place station in northwest with more. adam? >> reporter: yeah, jim. the first thing we should mention is that metro is
6:03 pm
stressing there is no specific or credible threat against the d.c. metro system here in our area. but news like this certainly gets riders' attention. many, though, say they just have to keep moving. can't worry about it too much. >> i mean, you can't be scared of everybody and everything. you've got to go to work. >> reporter: mark cohen grew up in montgomery county, lives in springfield, virginia, and says threats like this are just part of living here. >> i think that's definitely concerning, but i see a lot of police presence in the metro most of the time i'm here. >> reporter: metro chief spokesperson dan constitutesel says today's news hasn't changed metro's security level and the transit agency is always on a heightened state of alert. >> on any given day, we have more than two dozen explosive detection k-9 units performing sweeps in stations, aboard trains, around critical infrastructure. >> reporter: and he says there are plenty of things you can't see. >> we have thousands upon thousands of security cameras and other detection systems we don't talk about publicly.
6:04 pm
>> reporter: news4 did obtain this recent internal memo from metro's chief of police, talking about the need to remain vigilant to the threat from jihadist terrorism. the memo also talked specifically about the islamic state. metro says it will continue to work with its federal partners and adjust security measures as needed. and back here now live outside the gallery place station as riders make their way around tonight, metro says in addition to all those security measures, there is also 500 transit police officers who are solely focused on the transit system. reporting live at gallery place, adam tuss, news4. >> thanks, adam. we want to turn now to the case of hannah graham. tonight the charlottesville police chief says he's preparing for a trial. jesse matthew is charged with the abduction of the missing uva student. no longer running from police, matthew will soon return to charlottesville, virginia. we're also getting a first look at where matthew spent his past few days. a fisherman says matthew asked him why he had thrown a fish
6:05 pm
back into the water, so he gave matthew the next one he caught. a short time later, the fisherman saw matthew with sheriff's deputies. northern virginia reporter david culver is live with the latest. david? >> reporter: chris, it seems every few hours we're getting new information in this case. the latest update coming out of lynch berg, virginia. commonwealth attorney's office there saying they investigated jesse matthew jr. back in 2002 for a sexual assault that allegedly occurred on the campus of liberty university. he went to school there. stressing, though, no charges were ever filed in that case. meantime, as the search for this fugitive comes to an end, the search for hannah graham spreads even wider. in rural madison county, virginia, they brought out the k-9s, scouring large plots of land, looking for hannah graham. late today, we heard a renewed plea from charlottesville police chief tim longo. >> this is a complicated investigation. first and foremost, because we
6:06 pm
don't know where hannah graham is. and we have to find her. the other reason is, we're still in the process of gathering evidence. >> reporter: part of that evidence using what witnesses saw on the downtown mall the day hannah vanished. police sahan awas last seen with matthew in this bar and restaurant. but today the owner released a statement claiming hannah never went inside. i asked the chief about that conflicting evidence. >> i will tell you that we have at least one witness that will put her inside that restaurant. >> reporter: over the past few days, the 32-year-old suspect made his way to galveston county, texas, a 20-hour drive from charlottesville. someone called in a suspicion person and vehicle. a deputy arrived, ran the plates, and determined it was matthew. >> we are all just unfortunately bonded by tragedy. >> reporter: today i spoke with alexis murphy's aunt and morgan harrington's mother. both young women abducted and killed in recent years here, their loved ones determined to spare hannah's parents from the unknown. >> i am desperate to find
6:07 pm
hannah. and i'm not an investigator. i can't do forensic kind of stuff. but i can come here, i can beg this community to continue searching for hannah. >> reporter: and i asked if they think matthew could be connected to their cases. >> they tell me it's not connected until they tell me it is. and that's what i'm going with. >> reporter: do you ever think about maybe it's connected to your morgan? >> you know, the thought comes to mind. but it's really secondary in a way. i'm frantic, really, like in a visceral way to find hannah. >> reporter: right now, three law enforcement officers are in galveston county, texas. they're from virginia. they're going through matthew's vehicle there, and they're also planning to bring him back on a flight sometime in the next day or two, according to the chief. we're live in charlottesville, virginia, tonight. i'm david culver, news4. thanks, david. all right, division rivals about to do battle in prime time.
6:08 pm
and both need to win it at this point. >> this is a divisional game and that matters a whole lot. dianna and jason, got to win this game, don't you think? >> yes, they surely do. but vance, not only do they have the difficulty of facing the new york giants come offering a great win last weekend, but they're dealing with injuries. we're talking 17 injuries on this redskins report. we'll find out in just a few minutes who is in, who is out. i can tell you sources tell me desean jackson will suit up and play tonight. jason hatcher warmed up. we saw him getting looked at by the trainers and coaches. so we'll find out if he'll be ready to go for tonight in a few minutes. >> we hope patrick can go, one of the better defensive line meb on this redskins team. also the first night without deangelo hall, done for the season with that torn achilles. we'll see what the rookie ba shard breeland can do in place of him tonight. the guys just arrived to the stadium a while ago. want to show you that video. this is kirk cousins making his sixth career start for the redskins. 400 yards last week, 3
6:09 pm
touchdowns. we'll see what type of success he can have against the giants. and pierre garcon. as dianna mentioned, injury a big part of this team, a big storyline tonight. but these guys aren't making any excuses when it comes to injuries. >> it's tough, you know. but we knew this was on our schedule for a long time. i've got to prepare for it, and sometimes football is about playing when you're not quite 100%. guys are going to have to backel up, strap it up, because giants are in the same boat we are. we're both 1-2 and it's a very important game for both of us in the nfc east. and so somebody has got to strap up. a lot of guys will fight through it and play hard. >> reporter: it's going to be really interesting to see how kirk cousins performs. we saw him against the eagles that first half where he was really -- fantastic. so we'll see if he will be able to string together two great games and maybe get a win. >> yeah. this team needs a win. definitely need a win right now. also coming up later in sports, we'll talk about the nationals.
6:10 pm
another big day at nats park. coming up in just a bit. guys? >> thanks. >> thanks, guys. also important how eli plays, as chris just mentioned. he can be great or really stink up the joint. >> i have a feeling it's going to be sack city tonight. >> oh. bold prediction. all right. we all know the redskins are under a lot of pressure to change the team's name, especially if you're part of native american groups. "sports illustrated" released a poll in which fans do not find the team name offensive and only 25% support changing the name. 500 people took part in this particular poll and falls in line with owner dan snyder who has promised to never change the team's name. weather matters always. especially here in this town tonight. we've got our football team down there in fedexfield. also got the nats down in nats stadium. doug, what kind of weather are they playing? >> i'll tell you what. these fields not too far away from each other.
6:11 pm
you can actually see them off in the distance right there. how about that shot? looking pretty good across our region tonight. if you're going to the games, though, one thing to make sure you have, and it's not the umbrella. it's going to be the jacket. definitely on the cool side. still have that breeze across our region. we also have areas of drizzle, and that's really all it is, just some very light drizzle through loudoun county, fairfax county, around the district here. we'll zoom in. also montgomery county seeing some of that. here is northwest d.c., seeing some of that. that's going to pass towards southeast, nats park. so heads up for that if you are heading down. but here are the forecasts for the redskins tonight as we take on the giants at 8:25. temperatures i think will fall through the 60s quickly. so 65 degrees. a little bit of drizzle at 7:00. may linger a little. butost of the game should stay dry. 62 by 11:00, though. so it is going to be quite chilly. and for the nationals tonight, i think we're looking okay there, too. once again, could see some areas of drizzle. temperatures, though, will be on the cool side in both locations. so take that jacket, take that sweatshirt, whatever it is you need. i'll have the rest of the forecast, including that weekend.
6:12 pm
wait until you see this. coming up. looking forward too it, doug. calling it quits. attorney general eric holder stepping down after six years on the job. and a search warrant has been unsealed in the case against charles severance. it's giving us some new details on how the police zeroed in on him as the suspect in three murders in alexandria.

6:14 pm
you're watching news4 at 6:00.
6:15 pm
tonight, attorney general eric holder has announced he is resigning as the attorney general. he was one of the president's first cabinet picks. >> his six years in office have had their share of controversy from the fast and furious gun program to the nsa surveillance scandal. holder has also fought for civil rights and voting rights. >> in the months ahead, he will leave department of justice, but i will never -- i will never leave the work. i will continue to serve and try to find ways to make our nation even more true to its founding ideals. >> nbc news justice correspondent pete williams with us now, following eric holder for a very long time. pete, eric holder has had lots of ups, downs, throw it up against the wall, what sticks? what do you think? >> this is no surprise he decided not to serve out the full two terms in office. he was one of the president's original cabinet members. it was pretty clear he was going to leave before the midterm
6:16 pm
elections, so that no one can say he left after the mid terms because he didn't like the outcome of the elections and the possible change in senate control. so the only real question here was what day and what hour would he decide this? now he did say he's going to stay until his successor is confirmed. he's the fourth longest serving attorney general. if he stays well into december, which he probably will be, then he'll become the third-longest serving. but as you say, i think at one point he might have been tempted to leave, especially when things were particularly difficult between him and congress over the irs investigation, the fast and furious botched gun tracing operation by atf. and he became sort of the favorite target for republican critics of this administration. but i think one thing that energized him and gave him a second win was the u.s. supreme court's decision, in essence gutting the voting rights act that gave him a whole new mission to try to make sure the nation's civil rights laws,
6:17 pm
what's remaining of them, are strictly in force. >> so he's going to stay until -- his successor is confirmed. but congress is so divided. any idea when that might be, and who might that be? >> well, the who we'll have to wait and see. there are lots of names already floating around. and i don't know how tempting this job will be f some, because you're only going to serve for two years, and you're going to go through a punishing confirmation. but it seems while i'm sure that republicans are already saying they'll give the nominee very close scrutiny, i can't believe that the senate will just completely stiff the administration and not confirm an attorney general at a time when we're under increased terror threats and there are lots of very serious issues to work on. >> it's going to take a while before it irons outs. >> yes, indeed. >> thanks, pete. we appreciate it. >> my pleasure. you can see more reaction on holder's resignation coming up on "nbc nightly news" with brian williams. that begins right after this broadcast. an american doctor who was infected during the ebola
6:18 pm
outbreak is finally home tonight. rick sacra got out of the hospital today, and he received a huge round of applause as he left the nebraska medical center. sacra contracted ebola in liberia while he was working at a hospital. >> literally thousands of people here and around the nation, even around the world, have been praying for me. and those prayers have been answered. though my crisis has reached a successful end here, unfortunately, the ebola crisis continues to spin out of control. >> in fact, president obama talked about the ebola outbreak at the united nations today. he promised to deploy up to 3,000 troops to liberia to help set up facilities and even form some training teams there. playing football in the mud can be fun. big fun. baseball, not so much. >> that's exactly right. this is a perfect night for football. and i think we're going to be a-okay. but the nationals -- that baseball field could be a little wet. but i think they're going to be
6:19 pm
a-okay. they already got through the worst of it earlier today with the 1:00 game. yeah, i heard we lost that game. actually, i was watching that game. the next game against the mets goes well tonight, i think we'll be a-okay as most of the rain out of here. currently, 69 degrees, winds at 10 miles per hour, and we continue to see clouds. 70 in frederick. 63 in gaithersburg. 65 in an appear police. it has been a very cool or rather breezy day and a little on the dreary side too with the clouds and showers. the drizzle, it sticks around and that's what happens with these kinds of systems. northeasterly wind continues to give us that breeze off the ocean. so some drizzle around leesburg, in through loudoun county, montgomery county, right on through the district here, parts through northwest and even around fairfax and fairfax county. down to the south, we have watched this band move through calvert county and st. mary's county, just out of the area. and most of us will stay on the drier side as we make our way the rest of the night. could use the umbrella, but not
6:20 pm
that bad. the main storm system itself moving to new york and boston region. we are about done with this one. and then behind it, there is nothing, and that's some very good news. we're going to go for lots of clouds overnight and into early tomorrow morning. tomorrow morning we could see some fog develop in some locations. and then -- well then the skies will part and here comes the sun. sunshine tomorrow afternoon all day. i think tomorrow will be a fantastic friday. and then it gets even better as we head into the weekend. high temperatures tomorrow, back up into the 70s. 78 degrees in d.c. 79 in fredericksburg. winchester at 77. lorraine, 78 degrees. and right along the water toward the chesapeake, a little cooler there. 74, 75 degrees. but with plenty of sun pretty nice. so what to wear tomorrow morning for the kids at the bus stop, kind of cool in the morning. so maybe the jacket early. but i think by the afternoon, you'll be able to wear the shorts. so i'm putting my son tomorrow in a sweatshirt and shorts. that's all he wears is shorts these days. 81 degrees on saturday. 83 degrees on sunday. plenty of sunshine out there,
6:21 pm
everybody has the shorts this weekend. that nice. 79 on monday. and look what happens all next week. the next seven days, we're talking about temperatures into the 70s, upper 70s, around 80 degrees. we are well above average for the next seven days. how about that? after last two days, we have seen around our region. next, is it extra support or segregation? new at 6:00, a local school district faces pressure on both sides about creating schools just for spanish-speaking students. the redskins getting ready for the giants after a short week of practice. dianna and jason live on the field at fedex as the burgundy and gold warm up for an important rivalry game. plus, a former congressman opens up about his darkest deem mondays. tonight, his message that's changing minds when it comes to treatment of the

security being beefed up at a local high school after reports of a fight club popped up on social media. accusations of discrimination after a plan is unveiled to create two new schools for spanish-speaking students in prince george's county. and opening up about his battle with addiction and mental illness. >> setting a new pattern in my life, where, you know, sobriety is the norm, not the exception. >> patrick kennedy, sharing his story with the hope of changing minds. police tonight are beefing up security amid rumors of a fight club at a local high school. after our story aired on news4 at 5:00, a twitter account dedicated to the fight club was taken down. mark segraves spoke to the principal there who explains why he thinks anyone would create
6:31 pm
such a stir. >> reporter: the principal here at fauquier high school says this is nothing more than rumors and kids acting like kids. but he's taking it seriously, and he has asked local police for more officers tomorrow morning. this twitter account is what started all the talk here at fauquier high school. for the past 24 hours, students have been tweeting about fights' school and rumors of more violence to come. the school's principal says it's just that, rumors. >> there's no such thing as fight club. >> reporter: principal burton acknowledges there have been four fights at the school in just three days this week. and he said that's a lot for this school. >> it's very unusual. we probably had three or four fights all of last year. >> reporter: but principal burton doesn't think the fights are connected to the tweets and insists there is no club of students fighting each other at the school for sport. >> everything that we have learned, everything we have seen, everything that we have found out is that it's just that, a rumor. >> reporter: as for why a
6:32 pm
student would create a twitter account for a fight club that doesn't really exist? >> to get attention. >> reporter: despite police and school officials finding no evidence of an actual fight club here, principal burton isn't taking any chances. he has asked fauquier county sheriff for additional police to be at the school tomorrow. >> we're doing it just as a precaution. >> reporter: now the principal it tells us, school officials and police are trying to figure out who created that twitter account. and if it turns out that it was a student, they could face disciplinary action. as for parents, none of them wanted to go on camera with us today, fearing retaliation against their kids. but we found several of them showing up to school today, complaining to the principal about the rumors and a few of them did tell us they don't think the school system is taking this seriously enough. at fauquier high school, mark segraves, news4. >> thanks, mark. a police officer shot and killed a teenage boy in loudoun county, but tonight that officer has been cleared of any wrongdoing. in may, purseville police are called to the home of christian sierra's friend. he reported that sierra had a

and discriminated against. but for the fact i was a kennedy and a member of congress, you know, i faced all that, and i got denied care, but i got to get care, because i had power. >> reporter: not an option for most americans, and that's why kennedy says our laws, enforcement and attitudes about mental illness must change. >> this is the test of our humanity today. is whether we're going to treat each other as we ourselves would want to be treated, simply because we have a brain issue as opposed to any other physical health issue. >> reporter: doreen gentzler, news4. >> kennedy is open about his issues and very, very passionate about them, as well. we've got a lot more information on substance abuse and mental health on our website. just go to nbcwashington.com. >> cyber experts are warning about a potential security flaw for people who use apple computers. they call it the bash bug.
6:47 pm
it allows hackers to gain access to computers using mac osx and 9x-based operating systems. unlike the heart bleed bug earlier this year, this one actually allows hackers to take control and to use computers remotely. there's no word yet from apple on if or when it will release a security update. >> i'm at the point now where i think hackers can do just about anything they want, whenever they want. >> they have demonstrated that, haven't they? what you got, doug? >> i've got some good stuff. >> know what, i'm going to start calling you grizzly adams. >> looking good. >> it is a grizzly thing. >> i feel like i'm in a different club too. i want to thank you for bringing in the facial hair guy club. i'm in that door now. show you what's happening across our region. we have a pretty good fall evening. but that's exactly what it it is, a fall evening. fairly cool. some clouds. and take a look at the capital

wheel down there. burgundy and gold, the colors of the wheel tonight as we take on the giants in landover. currently, temperatures, sitting in the 60s. and it's the cool 60s and we still have a few areas of drizzle. this drizzle is going to stick around for the next few hours. but it's starting to abate. so we're going to see this continue to go away as we move through the rest of the night. so i'm thinking it's going to be good for the nationals playing down in southeast, and for the redskins playing over at orlando. i love this shot. nationals park, as well as fedexfield all in the same location. just eight miles apart, but they look really, really close in that shot. 68 degrees, drizzle likely at 7:00, for both locations. i'm not too worried about that drizzle. should be out of here and we'll see temperatures fall into the 60s. tonight, we see the cloud cover continue. and by early tomorrow morning, should see areas of fog. that's the only thing we have to watch out for tomorrow morning. and really, for the next seven days potentially. because we're going to see some sunshine tomorrow. and that sunshine is going to last right on through the middle of next week. so tomorrow afternoon, mostly sunny and warmer.
6:49 pm
temperatures 74 to 79 degrees. a very nice friday. that's why we call it a fantastic friday. the next couple days get even better. 81 on your saturday. 83 degrees on sunday. lots of sunshine both days. monday looking great with a high temperature of 79. we'll see a storm system on tuesday, but that should pass to our south. we'll see a few more clouds from that storm system, but not going to bring us much. temperatures into the 70s tuesday, wednesday and thursday. so guys, a pretty good forecast out there. got to tell you that. >> not bad at all. dianna and jason, do you access to anything other than those luke warm hot dogs in that press box? >> no, i already have the coffee on high up there. i sent jim handly up there. it is a little chilly here. doug, you lied to me this morning when you texted me and told me it would be warm out. all eyes on kirk cousins tonight. >> all eyes on kirk cousins, his stellar performance against the eagles on sunday. see him warming up on its field. big game tonight for the skins taking on the giants.
6:50 pm
don't go anywhere
6:51 pm
6:52 pm
this is the xfinity sports desk, brought to you by xfinity, your home for the most live sports. so doug and i think giants are going to stick it up and the redskins are going to roll tonight. >> i think they might roll, but not because the giants stink it
6:53 pm
up. because i think they're a better team. what do you guys think? >> if you asked us this question before last weekend, i would say the redskins had this one easy. but after the giants' performance against the texans, they're definitely picking up some momentum here. they have a new offense. a new system they're running with the new offensive coordinator. it seems like eli manning is figuring this out. this could be a difficult day, i think, for the redskins defense. >> the redskins are a better team, first and foremost, in my opinion, than the giants. but it's going to be interesting to see. >> speaking of players on this redskins defense tonight, jason hatcher, sources tell me that he will play tonight. he was out on the field earlier today. he was with the trainer, larry heck, checking out what he was calling a pulled hamstring. they said he was okay. we can see him out there hugging bruce allen, general manager, defensive coordinator, jim haslett. jason hatcher, definitely needed out on this defense tonight.
6:54 pm
>> here's the thing. this team has three days of practice, and film study. both teams, the giants and the redskins. so this is going to be like we said, a very interesting match-up, given the short week of practice and preparation for both squads. but the injuries, they become, you know, ginormous for the redskins. >> definitely the biggest problem. but desean jackson back in the lineup tonight. complaining about those shoulder injuries all week long. practiced very, very lightly. but he will be playing tonight. >> yeah. we talked about desean jackson, jason hatcher, all these guys looking forward to this meeting against the giants and the big time match-up. division rivals. both teams come in at one and two. thursday night game of the week, nfl, here's the problem. the skins -- or not the problem. the skins looking to go 2-0 at home with a win tonight. the players, they don't necessarily like these short weeks in the nfl, mainly because it takes a toll on their bodies. >> i feel like crap. i mean, it's extremely difficult.
6:55 pm
but, i mean, both teams feel the same way. i would think. yeah, it's very tough. >> just got to keep pushing forward, you know. nobody in the league likes thursday night games. i don't know why they have them. it sucks as players. but it's part of the game. we have to endure the schedule. but we'll be fine. >> all right. no one likes it, but it doesn't matter. it's time to play. kirk cousins will make his sixth career start tonight. this past sunday, threw for over 400 yards, three touchdowns. however, late interception and final offense of the series put a damper on an otherwise stellar performance by kirk. he is trying to improve upon his play from last week. >> you know, as a quarterback, if there is any doubt in the other ten guys in the huddle looking at me, can this guy get it done for us, can he move the ball, i've already failed. >> i just think kirk is doing the best he can, stepping in, like i said. taking advantage of the opportunity. so, you know, we need that.
6:56 pm
we can't afford for that position to drop down. i think he's going to do anything and everything he needs to do to get the ball in the players' hands that need to make plays to help this team win. >> all right. so it will be great to see if kirk cousins can string together two good teams against his sixth start as a washington redskin. but not only do we have a big redskins game, we've got the nats, who are busy over in nats park playing against the mets. >> double header. right to the first game in this day/night double header. we're going to pick this one up in the bottom of the fifth. nationals down 4-2. two on for michael taylor and he rips this ball into left field. two runners will head in to score. the nats tie this game at 4-4. stay that way up until the top of the eighth. tyler clifford on for the nats. matt past third. chris young on second. bryce happier's arm, the throw is off line. and the nats up 5-4. in the bottom of the ninth, it's
6:57 pm
now 7-4. the nats with a chance to tie. but harper, he's at the plate with two on. it's a deep fly, but it's caught in front of the warning track. the nationals, they lose the first game of this series. or at least the day/night double header, i should say. 7-4 is your final score. >> back here at fedexfield. things that you want to keep an eye on, and tonight's game against the giants. kirk, can he finish a game and get the team a victory. also, back in the sack. the team had ten sacks against the jaguars. none last week against the eagles. can they improve that number this week. finally, deangelo hall. he is out. can the rookie step in his shoes and have a big game. and special teams. can they get out of this hole and improve. this should be something you want to check out tonight. kickoff at 8:25. >> looking forward to it. jason, i want to know if you were just texting your girlfriend a minute ago. >> no, i was -- >> busted!
6:58 pm
he was checking -- >> wait a couple minutes. >> tune in at 11:00 for that answer. "nbc night
