wants to keep th in the limelight and bring the children home safe. >> it is hard to recall a time when there were this many active missing persons cases at one time in this area. rulisha rud still not found. hannah graham still not found. stone still missing and the children stimissing. police are following up on all leads, suspected lead in the woods prompted an immediate response. >> we feel like they are probably still in this area but they have had definitely plenty of time to get them out of the area. that is a big concern of ours. >> reporter: especially with their mother who went missing with the children now in custody only thing the children are somewhere safe. she is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. >> i just want my kids home. >> reporter: citizen searches are trying to establish a timeline for her whereabouts with the children. a lot of effort focuses on

getting the information and especially the vehicle she may have been in with the children. >> we have businesses giving time windows. >> reporter: they say she may have been in the chrysler minivan between 5:30 and 8:30 in the morning and this nissan rogue on monday between 5:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. maybe they were caught on some merchant's surveillance camera. >> they are interested to look at footage to see if they saw the cars. >> katherine hoggal is moved to a facility in maryland where she may be allowed visitors. >> i wouldn't mind talking to her to see if after all this time she said she had somebody to watch them for two weeks. maybe it is time for daddy to pick them up. >> hope for hannah graham tonight on the university virg campus. 7,500 ribbons were handed out during today's football game against kent state. they are orange because that is her favorite color.

before she disappeared two weeks ago hannah attended every home game. the student body says they will wear the ribbons because she is still with them. >> the ribbons are a good illustration of how this affects everyone and how everyone is aching for hannah together. >> the suspect is now being held in isolation in e charlottesville jail after being extradited from texas last night. police believe matthew was the last person with graham charged with abduction with intent to defile. to the latest developments in chicago where a fire at an faa control center grounded hundreds of flights today. we have learned the man accused of starting to fire is now charged with a felony. investigators say brian howard worked at the center. he was upset that he was being transferred to another state police found him he was trying to take his own life. as for local impact all flights

set to arrive were cancelled today. 30% of arrivals from o'hare were cancelled. united, american and southwest affected. right now d.c. police are on the hunt for the person who shot a cop and killed a man overnight in southeast. the shooting happened around 12:30. detectives say the officer was reporting to a disorderly conduct call in the area when he was hit by a bullet. a second victim 39-year-old anthony jones was rushed to the hospital where he latedied. a third man was shot. he and the officer are both expected to be okay. turning to the fight against isis. one day after the bri parliament authorized air strikes armed royal planes took to the skies today. there were no attacks against any targets. >> reporter: two jets armed with laser guided bombs and missiles took off from a base this

morning along with the refuelling plane. they returned to the base several hours later in the early afternoon. the defense department here says no missiles were fired, that they just did not find targets requiring immediate air attack. the defense secretary said military jets would hit targets as and when appropriate. he said this is going to be a long careful mission, lots of surveillance and reconnaissance, targeted strikes with each mission personally authorized by him. as the prime minister put it in his speech to parliament friday the british mission will be a campaign of patience and persistence, not shock and awe. >> we are there to play our part and help deal with support and terrorist organization. >> the prime minister lost a vote last year. he is treading carefully this time. there is very little appetite in this country for another war in iraq. prime minister cameron

on the run for more than two weeks investigators say a suspected cop killer planned his escape for years. eric frein is accused of killing a pennsylvania state trooper in an ambush. evidence on his computer revealed he researched survival in the wild. police think they are closing in on him. police in maryland have arrested a man for allegedly going into the ladies bath room at a toys r us and filming them with his cell phone. this happened on richie highway. the victim was inside a stall
