a look at your hour-by-hour breakd overall we're looking pretty good. we have two crashes, one in the landoverd one down 95 sout. as you're sort of headed through dumfries. taking a look at 66, we're good into and out of town, tiny but slow as you're coming outside of the beltway. that's from earlier construction that was in the way. up here, 95 is looking quite good. wide look at the beltway, big picture here. no major issues right now, moving along as it should be for this time . prince george's county side of the roadway, looking good. seminary road southbound below 395, slow with one lane blocked. that should be out of the way by 5:00. back in ten minutes. the white house fence jumper returns to court today. federal prosecutors consider omar gonzalez a danger to the president. the army veteran is accused of

jumping over the white house fence and running across the lawn and into the white house carrying a folded knife. gonzalez faces federal and local charges. at his first court appearance the judge ruled that gonzalez be held without bail. that could be revisited at today's hearing and this is all happening as we are learning of another security lapse involving the secret service. an armed security contractor with a criminal history was allowed into an elevator with the president during a recent trip to the cdc. .hat is a violation of agency and now to the latest developments to control the first ebola case diagnosed in the united states. the patient is a man. doctors are keeping him in isolation at texas health presbyterian hospital in dallas. the centers for disease control says he travelled from liberia to texas around the 20th of september. that patient started showing symptoms about five days later. despite this case, health officials do not believe there's a major outbreak coming to the u.s.

>> i have no doubt that we will control this importation or this case of ebola so that it does not spread w this country. >> the cdc trying to identify family and friends who may have had close contact with the ebola patient. those people will be monitored for possible exposure. health officials do not fear a risk of any airline passengers becoming sick because the pati symptoms at that time. there are a new focus on how ebola is spread with this new case here in the united states. the cdc says the disease is only spread through people infected who show symptoms. it spreads through direct contact, through blo or body fluids, from a person who is sick or has died. symptoms typically start showing eight to ten days after exposure. the cdc says if no symptoms develop within 21 days of exposure, the person will not get ebola. for symptoms of ebola and coverage of this latest case, go

october 28th. some paychecks will be going up in montgomery county to the county council voted to gradually increase the minimum wage to $11.50 over the next four years. county leaders will join minimum wage workers this morning at the national labor college to explain the impact the wage increase will have, starting in january, maryland's minimum wage will begin a similar climb to $10.10 per hour which it will reach by 2018. more trouble for dan snyder as he fights to hold on to the name redskins. the fcc says it will consider a petition that calls for the name .o be banned from public airwa e the petition was started by a law professor. the agency's chairman did not offer a timetable for a ruling on this but he has previously said that he personally finds the name offensive and derogatory and hopes the name will be cnged without any

fire is burning in atlantic city. take a look at these pictures. firefighters trying to gain the upper hand here. this is right along the famous atlantic city boardwalk on atlantic avenue. three buildings on fire. firefighters say the wind this morning is a big challenge for them. this fire started last night in one building, it quickly spread to two other buildings and the fire is still going strong this morning. we know that at least two of those buildings have experienced a partial collapse. incredibly, no one has been injured here. there was one family in one of those homes that had to be taken out, obviously they're now getting help from the red cross. we'll be watching here as .irefighters work to get >> thank you, richard jordan from the live desk. 4:46. extra security will be on hand at buoy high school after a deadly shooting near the school. shots rang out in the parking lot behind the bel air swim and racket club at 50 yesterday.

police s -- a woman described what she saw after hearing the shots. >> i knew it was a gunshot. i instantly called the police and jumped and looked o the window and saw kids running, at least 20 kids. >> late last night a four-door chevy was towed from the parking lot of buoy high school. police are not saying how the car is connected to the investigation. new developments overnight in a teen's shooting in d.c. we're learning that teenager has died. the victim was shot on downing street northeast last night. he was conscious on the way to the hospital but later died. police have one person in custody but they're not revealing the victim's exact age or motive behind this shooting. >> not even the lawyer for jesse matthew knows what evidence connects his client to the abduction of hannah graham. attorney james candelow says he met with police but they have

yet to show them what they have the link to harrington and a 2005 rape in fairfax have several other agencies across the state checking for connections to matthew. police and towns where matthew has spent time are taking a second look at cases of missing and murdered women. it is important to note there have not been any claims to link matthew to any addi 12 minutes before the hour. today, some d.c. police officers will be wearing body cameras. 165 officers will wear five different types of devices including eyeglasses, fitted with a special lens, the police chief the cameras can better document actions and conditions during an incident. the officers who wear these cameras will give feedback after six months. at that point, the department will decide whether to expand the program. d.c. police budgeted $1 million for these cameras.

also today in the district, it will cost you m d.c.'s yoga tax goes into effect today. it adds 6% to your cost at yoga gyms, studios. at regular gyms and health clubs, too. you'll see the extra charge for bowling alleys, water delivery service, carpet cleaning and car washes. the tax could generate more than $28 million in its first year. the live desk watching a developing story right now. the wife of a mayor in california is out of jail this morning, even after police say she shot and killed her husband, the mayor of bell garden. according to the sheriff's department, the mayor got into a fight, an argument. their 19-year-old son tried to break it up, then the sheriff's department says that the wife got a gun and shot her husband several times in the torso. she went to jail. she was questioned by police officers for several hours but then she was released.

the study was done by the county council's office today we're expecting to learn more about a new hotel planned for the alexandria water developer carr city centers wants to build a new hotel on south union street. some residents voiced concerns about this project because of asbestos at the old site. the company is holing an informational meeting at 7:00 p.m. tonight to explain its plans. today you can see a six acre portrait laid out on the national mall. it uses dozens of images of people photographed in d.c. their photos make up a larger image. you'll have to travel high to see the entire piece at once. organizers say one only good spot will be from the washington monument's observation room. you can't just show up at the washington monument to get up there. you have to be ticketed in time.
