a guy comes along, stabs him and then slashes his throat. kevin's great grandmother comes out and tries to stop the guy, but he stabs and wounds her and then continues his escape down the street. there wae manhunt and a few weeks later, glregory was arrested and charged. he sucker punched his own defense attorney. he's been found mentally incompetent tent to stand trial. now it appears this case has come to a cross roads. the issues, doctors say murphy cannot be made competent to stand trial. because of that, defense lawyers say the criminal charges should be dropped. that murphy should be committed and the case should be handled severally. this is not the outcome kevin's sister wants. >> i want him to be behind bars. i want him to they ever see tr

evidence that shows each of the officers assaulting individuals. >> reporter: the state attorney and police chief magaw announcing indictments against two police officers. one incident at suit land high school, whether officer pickard was a school he resource officer. >> the video showed the officer and student in the hallway and without any audio, you'll be able to see that there is some verbal exchange followed by the officer striking the young man. >> reporter: the student was 17, they say the assault happened during the school day. parents say this is a major violation of trust if true. >> it's really, really needed in the county overall, so i hope that's not the case. the kids really need the trust of the officers. >> transparency, ethical policing, constitutional policing is something that this police department stands by and

beltway, adam tuss, news 4. >> we're still tracking the latest on the only current ebola patient in our country, dr. craig spencer. he's still in the hospital in the word from new york ti city health officials who also say they have released a 5-year-old patient admitted earlier this week. that little boy tested negative for ebola. dr. spencer's doctors without borders colleague by the way, nurse kaci hickox, is still resisting quarantine. we'll have the update on the new development that could put her back in isolation ahead in this hour. and we've just learned that thursdays all over the country will hit the picket lines over bom safety standards including some right here in d.c.. national nurses united will hold strikes november 12. one of thement whos on the list, providence hospital in northwest d.c., they're calling it a national day of action for ebola safety standards. the strike this d.c. will affect about 400 nurses.

tomorrow is the official deadline for kids in prince george's county to show proof that they have gotten their immunizations. kids who don't have the proper papers will still be allowed in class, but a letter will go home to their parents. and starting on wednesday of next week, kids who have not gotten their shots will have to stay home until their parents turn in the papers from doctors. there is a new measure to help stop sex abuse at the university of maryland and it aims to educate all students before they get this class. the school will roll out online training on what constitutes sexual misconduct. the goal? to require students to finish the training before they can register for classes. some 100 sexual misconduct cases were reported on the campus in the last academic year. that's according to the diamond back student newspaper. there have been ten so far this year. some tough questions for the fbi, which is at the center of the controversy for the way that

the specifics on documents, lawsuit settlement and reports of des or injuries. the order includes request for all documents that refer or relate to run churing air bags manufactured in whole or in part by takata. and takata has until december 1 to turn over that information or face fines of $7,000 each day. shrimp for sale, but are you getting what you pay for? a reporter shows a third of shrimp products bought in our area are mislabeled or misrepresented. a dna based survey was done at grocery stores across the country including d.c., new york, oregon and florida. and this is what they found. 33% of shrimp sold in our area was either lblabeled having the wrong way or sold as coming from the wrong region. if most cases, cheaper farm raised shrimp was sold as wild

or gulf shrimp. so here's what you can do. look for traced seafood products. that tracks where the seafood camem. and speaking of getting what you pay for, how does a round trip flight to europe for less than $150 sound? is that real? ice land based airline wow air has introduced low cost routes between the u.s. and europe. fares listed on its website, $200 and $300 round trips from bwi to places like london and iceland. get your calendars out and your credit cards ready. those start in 2015. important to note here, since wow air is a lower cost airline, expect to pay for things line pre-booking your seat.

i can't believe somebody would do that to their own children. >> reporter: you heard right. it was a family member who took his daughter's social security number and opened two credit cards. >> i never thought about anythi cards or how anybody could come that. >> reporter: it's something every parent should be on the lookout for. thieves are using tafake names with the real social security number called a synthetic i.d. to open bank accounts, even credit cards. child's identities are targets because no one is monitoring their credit. >> if you steal the i.d. of a child or social security number, it may be several years before that child realizes when they go try to get credit something has been compromised. >> reporter: medical records are an easy ky way for social secur numbers to be stolen. >> ask the doctor if they can generate some patient i.d. number that is unique to your child so you're not giving out
