president obama left australia. in a statement national security council spokesman bernadette meehan said the intelligence community is working as closely as possible to determine the authenticity. if confirmed, we are appalled by the brutal murder of an innocent american aid worker. end quote. 26-year-old kassig was captured last year while helping provide aid to syrians. police are looking into a shooting that killed one teen and hurt another. the shooting happened just after midnight on keating drive on kingsman road. news 4's darcy spencer is live with the new information. darcy? >> reporter: good morning, melissa. prince william county police released the name of a teenager shot and killed, identified as christopher weaver. he was 19 years old. neighbors are telling me this double shooting happened right here in the cul-de-sac here on keating drive. a 15-year-old boy was also shot and wounded. the shots were fired just after

midnight today. both victims were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, the 19-year-old did die unfortunately. the 15-year-old is expected to survive. multiple shots thishe and his morning. >> i heard about three shots. after about two or three minutes i heard another two shots. my sister heard approximately anywhere from 10 to 12 shots, . >> reporter: prince william county police are telling me this was not a random shooting. they're still working to t a su. reporting live from woodbridge, darcy spencer, news 4. >> thank you, darcy. we have new information about a serious car crash this morning. take a look at this video go a 21-year-old man was thrown from his car in montgomery county. this happened before 9:00 at the intersection of mariana drive and aspen hill road. montgomery county police tell us they first approached the driver in a parking lot in aspen hill.

officers noticed his license was suspended and they called a tow truck. as the tow truck arrived, they san jose he in the car and took off. he hit a utility pole, a free and ended up on top an empty parked car. he was taken to the hospital in grave condition. new this morning, investigators are trying to figure out what caused a row house fire in the district. d.c. fire and ems sent us some pictures we can show you here. the fire happened last night at a row house on fourth and eighth streets. no one was hurt. take a look at your screen right now. several police agencies looking for this man right here. they want to talk to him about a kidnapping at the vienna metro station in fairfax county. a woman was in her car thursday when a man with a gun got in and forced her to drive to several atms. derrick ward has more on this ideal. >> metro transit police, prince george's county police and fairfax county police want to talk to this man.

he's seen here in a surveillance photo in connection with an armed carjacking. police say it started about 12:40 in the morning thursday here at the north garage vienna station. they say the woman was in a car, someone knocked on the window. she saw a man with a gun. he got in the car with her and that's when her odyssey began. according to authorities, the gunman promised he wouldn't harm her. he ordered her to drive to maryland and he demanded money. according to the official account of the incident, once in maryland, the victim came up with $45. it wasn't enough. the suspect directed her to drive her to stores, gas stations, places with atms so she could withdraw more money while he waited in the car. eventually he ordered her to drive to the new carrollton metro station where he left the victim unharmed. police say there's no warrant for this man, but he's someone they want to talk to in

connection with thursday's carjacking. one distinguishing characteristic is the man's walk, he walks with a limp, a limp to his right side. prince george's county police do have the victim's car and are searching it for dna evidence or fingerprints that could lead to an arrest. new this morning, doctors are saying an america with ebola is in extremely critical condition. dr. martin salia is in omaha where they're work og to save his life. salia is from maryland and his wife and children live in prince george's county. he was working as a surgeon in sierra leone and is now in his second day of treatment in the u.s. this morning a 12-year-old maryland girl is waking up with her family after she disappeared on tuesday from baltimore county. 12-year-old e bak was found in north carolina friday night. fbi agents were able to pick her up and track her thanks to her xbox and ipad. her father describes the moment his wife got that call that jackson had been found safe and unharmed. >> when you get that call last

obama and says you lied,out put troops back on the ground in iraq. what does this do to the momentum in this fight against isis? >> i don't know if it does anything. this is a public relations move by isis. this is what they do. i wouldn't be surprised if it was connected to tt that all the world leaders were gathered together in australia and they were like, hey, pay attention to us a little bit. the intelligence community is convinced this is true. and unfortunately the death of the aid worker is going to end up getting confirmed. general dempsey has been in iraq overnigh he's getting a firsthand look on the state of the iraqi army. richard engel on this morning, our chief foreign correspondent. the iraqi army is not holding up the way america would like it to. that's a problem. >> especially when we look at this terrible turn of events. >> absolutely. want to talk, of course, about the affordable care act as well.
