game back at wrigley field. what was this game like compared to that one? >> it was a lot of similar feeling. you know, home game there, home game here. you know family in town, a lot going on. but the crowd here was amazing. you know, the crowd in chicago was phenomenal but, you know, the fans here in washington, we love them to death. you know, they do a great job, put on a great event, and we're real happy we could get a win for them. >> pierre: does this help the hockey environment in washington? >> i think it does. over the last couple years, alex ovechkin, niklas backstrom, they've put a lot of good hockey fans in the seats and, you know, just does nothing but good things for the city of washington and washington. >> pierre: that what's your take-away moment for this winter classic? >> love being on the ice i think was a big moment. it's always fun. they did a great setup over there. obviously the finish being able to score a goal against my old team is also real special. >> pierre: had a fantastic month of december. now you're starting january obviously on a roll. can you springboard by using
