authorities in that country confirmed they found the body of hari simran. he vanished four days ago while hiking south of mexico city. >> reporter: information from mexican authorities down there who say the searchers did find the body in one of the narrow narrow narrow georges or ra vinesveens. he was down in mexico city for a yoga ka vengs with hisconvention with his wife. he sent a text message saying that he was at a different mountain but would be back soon. mexican authorities saying four days after he disappeared that they have now found the body. friend who know him locally, lives in leesburg va va withirginia

finish line when the bombs went off. the case against the man accused in the boston marathon bombing is set to get underway. >> as nbc reports, many in the city of boston hope the trial will help bring closure to the tragedy. >> reporter: for more than a year and a half federal prosecutors have been building their cass.e. the 21-year-old faces the death penalty for setting off the two bombs with the help of his brother, an attack that left three people dead and injured 260 others. he is also charged with the killing of a police officer in the days following the attack. his brother was killed in a shoot-out with police during the pair's attempted escape from the area. many in boston hope the upcoming trial will bring closure to the painful memories. >> i think people want to move

cleveland. caught on surveillance video. the boy was carrying a pellet gun. the police officer didn't know it was a toy. the dangerous winter weather is continuing to cause problems for drivers in parts of the country, several accidents blamed on icy roads. warning is in effect until tomorrow morning. the drivers are warned to take it slowly. in north texas a police cruiser was hit while responding to another accident. luckily no one was seriously hurt. >> just a little bit of ice there in our far western counties western maryland, far areas of west virginia. a look at the moisture. that's some of the moisture coming again the east of oak oakek oklahoma there, around arkansas.

instructor's body was discovered four days after he disappeared. >> chris lawrence is tracking the latest details from our live desk. >> reporter: i want to take you out to new hampshire where we have getting news of a massive pile up. this is the scene in the northbound lanes of i-93. fast-moving snow squalls caused two acceptseparate pile-ups. one of the calls involved a tractor trailer that caught fire after a vehicle went underneath it. the good thing is none of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening. all lanes have now been reopened. it's heading our way as many

folks are heading back home from the holidays. >> just in time. >> that area of new hampshire that you just saw, they will be getting more messy weather in the form of snowshowers. for us it's mostly rain. but early tomorrow morning we could be seeing some sleet, pockets of sleet very close to us. we've got that winter weather advisory in effect with the freezing rain advisory in the areas of hot pink. it's icy conditions into pennsylvania even northern new york with snow back in the forecast for new hampshire, vermont where they could see three to six inches of snow. this is a snapshot of 7:00 p.m. on saturday. most of our messy weather is going to be early in the day on saturday up until late afternoon. so a break from the rain then. but as temperatures warm we could see some fog late. saturday night.

temperatures tomorrow night around the mid 40s and rising as we go into sunday morning. we've got rain more likely to get back into the forecast after midnight early sunday morning. all that after some real brutal cold steps in. we'll talk about how low the temperatures will be in a few minutes. now to a developing story involving thers in west virginia. both could soon get out of the hospital. they were wearing bulletproof vets vests when their were shot. the father and sunon from texas were pulled off after finding they had stolen tags. they found the bodies in the back of the trunk. the move for seeking the death penalty for a deadly shooting inside an airport.

the man had plead not guilty to shooting the employee and wounding the gotwo others. a 19-year-old says he was ambushed christmas eve and her attackers posted pictures of the assault for all the world to see. her then-boyfriend took her to a cincinnati area mall and pulled her out of the car. several women jumped her, cut her hair wrote on her face and then robbed her. in these photos on facebook police records indicate that the boyfriend and another woman were charged with robbery, but so far no arrests. rallied in protestsupport of the st. louis police. that new year's eve rally was

exploring where they believe the main body of the jet is located. >> reporter: the searching continues late into the night here in indonesia. the search crews have been dealing with difficult weather conditions yet again. it is monsoon season here. there are heavy rains. storms can come on very suddenly. and also difficult seas. waves as high as 13 feet which make it tough to spot debris on the surface and retrieve it and move it from ship to ship and eventually back to land. despite all these difficulties searchers were able to recover 21 bodies today. ten of them have been brought to this identification center in sur ra-- a teacher in her late 40s, a young flight attendant, a

kbrung young man and an 11-year-old boy, all of them indonesian. in terms of looking for the wreckage and the main body of the plane, which searchers believe is at the bottom of the java sea, not much progress today. they were not even able to deploy the equipment they used to listen for those pings. the weather was simply too rough. they'll try again tomorrow. back to you. today italian firefighters and investigators boarded the chars remains of the burned out ferry. they're trying to determine what caused the deadly blaze and whether there are anymore bodies on board. the ferry caught fire during a trip to greece. 19 are now still unaccounted for. stories we're working on.
