4:15 pm
fitness part of this. take a look at this. it's going to be a fitness fashion show this weekend. and these ladies are from mind the mat yoga studio in alexandria. and they're wearing wardrobe from athleta. those two are teaming up to produce a fitness fashion show this weekend to share with you. i don't know about you, but i've got some new year's resolutions to work on my fitness program. and there's nothing like a snazzy new outfit to help you out. this is megan brown with mind the mat. tell us about the fashion show people are going to be able to see down here. >> well the great thing about fitness is fashion can always be involved. so we wanted to show that athleta's clothing can be worn outside of fitness, but also can be stylish, and brought into the yoga studio. so it's easily -- it's easy to move into it. it's easy to take it from the studio. and out into your everyday activity. >> the clothes are colorful and obviously very functional. and you all are offering free
4:16 pm
yoga classes and there are some free yoga mats involved too, right? >> yes. mind the mat will be doing a pilates for all class and yoga for all class, two per day. and athleta is being completely generous in giving away 50 yoga mats in every class we teach. >> so 200 all together i guess. >> 200 all together. >> and the fashion shows, if people want to catch those? >> 2:00 p.m. saturday and sunday. so come join the fun, and then you get to participate afterward. >> all right. megan brown, we're glad you're here. one more look at these amazing women. i'm feeling stiff just watching them. they are incredible and these are all yoga instructors from mind the mat. and they all tell me that yoga is the way that they've gotten in such great shape. so i'm inspired. i think i need to try to check out the free yoga classes. the expo kicks off tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. we'll be here at the dc convention center from 9:00 to 5:00 on saturday. and from 9:00 to 4:00 on sunday.

4:18 pm
there both days. so tomorrow you can come out to the storm team 4 question and answer session. that's at 12:30. and tom, myself chuck, will be there tomorrow. vj and doug are going to be there sunday. the q & a on sunday is at 11:00 a.m. i posted this information on my twitter and facebook pages so you can get all of that there. temperatures right now in the 30s and 40s. 42 in fredericksburg. 40 in washington. gaithersburg one of the cooler spots coming in at 30 degrees. if you're going out tonight, you definitely need to bundle up. the warmer jacket makes its return tonight to your wardrobe. temperatures in the teens and 20s. with temperatures that low, anything that's melted today is going to freeze again tonight. so you do want to watch for some isolated slick spots, especially on the sidewalks where you maybe didn't put salt down. looking at our weekend outlook, running errands this weekend, it's looking great. dry both days with a cold snap. maybe you realize you needed to do some winterizing. i have to be honest my battery in my car died. i recommend doing that on sunday.
4:19 pm
either way, the weather is cooperating. and both days great to head down to the health expo at the convention center. we hope to see you there. any questions you have for storm team 4, we're ready to answer them. high temperatures tomorrow are going to be in the 20s. so about 15 degrees cooler than we were today. 28 for a high temperature in washington. 25 in frederick. 27 for those of you in la plata. the good thing about tomorrow plenty of sunshine in the forecast. on sunday not necessarily the case. we do start off with sunshine. we'll have plenty of sunny skies at noon. but once we get into the afternoon hours, clouds increase and we become partly sunny. but warmer on sunday with a high temperature of 39 degrees. it's another cold start. 7:00 a.m. temperatures only in the teens. but once we hit the midday and afternoon hours on sunday really beautiful winter day in store. future weather starting you off at 5:00 a.m. on monday. so we've made it through the weekend heading back to work. that morning commute could be a slow go. the pink here the potential for freezing rain. not only in montgomery howard
4:20 pm
frederick, washington counties pretty much everywhere now, as long west of i-95. the threat of freezing rain looks to leave the area by 8:00 9:00 a.m. and rain likely in the forecast for the rest of the day. so that could cause some delays especially at the bus stop for monday morning. we continue to keep an eye on that. now, as far as temperatures go as we look at this next four days 26 tomorrow is cold. warmer on sunday. but then you can see, after tomorrow every high temperature on the seven day is in the 30s. so some good news there. i'm going to have more on the wintry mix on monday coming up in a little bit, barbara and jim. >> all right. thank you. he was the ring leader of a brutal hazing ritual that killed a fellow band member. today the former florida a&m university student learned he will spend over six years dante martin was convicted of manslaughter and felony hazing. he led other band members in the beating death of a peer in 2011. before receiving his sentence martin apologized to the victim's family.
