out of annapolis and spots like leonardtown where still that heavy snow is coming right down areas of i-95. we're at 30 degrees now. we drop to 23 by 11:00. it is the clearing skies that will allow our temperatures to plummet pip think if there were a lot less wind overnight we'd be talking about even lower readings. as it is right now, we're talking about record cold and, yes, wind with the winds picking up around 20 to 25 miles per hour. factor in that wind and it's dangerous cold by tomorrow morning. 5 to 15 degrees below zero. your windchill readings. so a bundle-up kind of morning. here it is at 5:00 a.m. the actual air temperature, 7 gaithersburg 2, frederick, maryland 3 degrees in hagerstown. and by lunchtime around 15 to 16 degrees across the area. just going from a high temperature tomorrow between 24 and 29 degrees. this yes, looks like the last of the real potent extreme cold for our area. you're really going to like the forecast coming up here.
