right now that suspect is in a prince george jess county jail cell. >> investigators are trying to figure out if he's responsible for other attacks on area women. as shomari stone shows us now, he says police have the wrong man. >> indeed. right now, james williams digs is in a jail. detectives walked him out to awaiting car. he refused to answer questions. but there was one question that he answered. let's take a look. >> are you innocent? >> yep. >> james williams digs tells me he's not guilty as he tries to hide his face from our camera. police tell us he is a suspect in two rape cases and a person of interest in two other ones. >> why do you say that you're innocent? you didn't rape or sexually assault four women, james? >> this individual obviously preyed on young women, the ages of the victims were between 16

and 2 years owed. >> police arrested 4-year-old digs in cottage city maryland today, two nights ago, they say he grabbed a woman from behind held a knife to her throat and raped her in a secluded area off 38th avenue at 8:15 at night. police say they showed the victim a six-person photo lineup containing the suspect's picture and she identified him. >> we're talking about somebody that's preying on the community's fears. >> digs is also a suspect in a rape last wednesday in bladesence berg and a person of interest in another bladensburg sexual assault case from last september and one in severely last october. >> all of the assaults occurred between 6:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. and the physical descriptions that were given were similar in all of the cases. >> reporter: now, detectives did not tell us if digs dna is linked to the cases.

time when they cannot do anything. >> the serve deferring c. volunteers are part after the district's snow team which helps out during all winter storms. >> tonight a 14-year-old fairfax boy accused of creating a cybercontest to generate child pornography. he allegedly used the popular kik app that allows users to share messages photos and videos with madeup screen names. >> we talk to kids now and they say my parents are on facebook. we don't use facebook anymore. kik is now the thing they're using >> a detective in arizona began investigating a 1-year-old who officials say submitted nude images to a screen name. police traced the ip address to a home here in fairfax. according to a warrant, officers found numerous images of child important on the 14-year-old suspect's cell phone. right now he's in the fairfax county juvenile detention center facing several charges. on our nbc washington app tonight, we put together a list of popular apps like kik and what parents need to know.

prosecutors call it one of the largest data breaches in u.s. history. three men charged tonight with hacking into eight e-mail service providers and stealing more than a billion e-mail addresses. the men then used that data to send spam making millions of dollars in the process. one man from vietnam has already pleaded guilty while another is still on the run. a man from canada is also in custody. new at 11:00, crews at the norfolk botanical garden are cleaning up after that plane crash this week. the staff is now able to cut damaged limbs and try to prepare the grounds. part of the park's mission is to maintain as much of a natural look as possible. the plane went down in the park's wooded area during foggy conditions. three people were killed here. the cause of the crash still unknown tonight. >> also new at 11:00 tonight, senator bob menendez is fighting back against rumors he's about to be indicted by the justice department. the new jersey democrat made a

brief statement tonight to reporters in newark. he has been under a microscope of corruption investigation for his close relationship with a florida doctor who is a friend and a large political donor. >> i have always conducted myself appropriately and in accordance with the law. every action that i and my office have taken for the last 23 years that i have been pringed to be in the united states congress has been based on pursuing the best policies for the people of new jersey and of this entire country. >> attorney general eric holder is expected to make a decision on the case in the next 30 days. last month's job report is out and economists were surprised by some of the numbers. 295 thought new jobs were added in february. the unemployment rate in the u.s. fell to 5.5%. that's the lowest unemployment since may of 2008. but it's not all good news as

take a look at this live picture of the edmund pettus bridge in selma, alabama. this weekend the president, the first lady michele and their teenage daughters malia and sascha will help mark the 50th anniversary of bloody sunday. it was at this bridge where state troopers violently attacked a peaceful civil rights march. mr. obama will speak tomorrow at the 50th anniversary. should be quite an event. and interesting experience for the obama family to be down there together. >> that's our news for now. thank you for joining us.
