you know exactly what will skrid is vid individual is doing. >> dramatic confrontation between a father and daughter. a virginia lawmaker at the center of it. former delegate joe morrissey has been accused of having annen appropriate relationship with that woman. her father clearly upset about it. morrissey pled guilty last year to a misdemeanor related to his relationship with the woman. she was a teenager at the time. he have sentenced to six months in jail. during the day he remained in the virginia legislature. in court yesterday, a judge dismissed charges against morrissey which accused him of forging documents related to his previous plea. johns hopkins hospital and university fising a billion dollar lawsuit. it's alleged hopkins conducted human experiments in yacht moleguatemala in the '40s. several victims and their families say hopkins doctors and

the u.s. government infected children psychiatric patients and prison inmates with sexually transmitted diseases. the study was to test whether penicillin could treat stds. hopkins says its doctors never directly took part in the experiment experiments. today robert durst is expected back in court. today's preliminary hearing is on gun and drug charges. durst was the subject of hbo's the jinx oig. he was arrested last month in new orleans. durst is accused of killing susan berman 15 years ago in los angeles. 6:17. police say someone killed a nine month old girl in leesburg. dech devyn ellis died last october. medical examiner says it was from blunts force trauma to the head. ellis' father says she went limp while he was feeding her. no one has been charged, but the father is barred from seeing a

sexual and gender diversity. and the center for multicultural affairs. school official called it a hateful and stupid act. the atlanta teen who received national attention two years ago after doctors turned down his request for a heart transplant died after trying to rob an old ladies. anthony stokes did get that heart transplant in 2013. doctors say they originally denied the request because of his brushes with the law. police say stokes died on tuesday after he crashed a stolen car in roswell, georgia. he was involved in a high speed chase after reportedly trying to break into an 81-year-old woman's home. stokes hit a 33-year-old pedestrian during that chase, as well. she is currently in the hospital in taeblstable condition. a simple message that could safe your life. doreen gensler has details on what you should do if you're experiencing heart problems. >> if you're dealing with a medical emergency and need to get to the hospital do you drive yourself are or call 911?

controversy over so-called religious freedom laws is now putting potential presidential candidates on the spot. it's an issue many may not have wanted to weigh this on. gabe guttierez joins us now live with what these candidates are saying. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. certainly controversy that is sweeping the nation and is already could be having an impact on the 2016 presidential race. hillary clinton weighing in ahead of the arkansas governor refusing to sign that bill tweeting out encouraging him to veto. so far senator ted cruz the only official candidate to announce he put out a statement saying that the backlash against this is part of a concerted attack on the first amendment. other potential candidates for example jeb bush he's standing by indiana governor mike pence, but he and other potential candidates like marco rubio are weighing in carefully trying to strike a general message of

law. governor hutchison says he won't sign the bill in its current form. he says even his own son signed a a petition asking him to veto the bill. his decision comes in the wake of an onslaught against lawmakers in indiana over a similar law. as early as today, those lawmakers could propose a fix. governor mike pence back pedaled on his support for the law this week after a nation wide furor. he's asked for a change to the law by tomorrow. catholic bishops in indiana have condemned the law. lots of places including d.c. have banned official travel to indiana because of that law. we've learned maryland will not join them. according to the "washington post," governor larry hogan denied a request to issue the same restrictions p. post says montgomery county delegate who is openly gay asked the governor to institute that ban. today mayor bowser is expected to layout how the district will pay for her new
