the sky over washington and the fast moving clouds with a chance of a sprinkle over about the next hour or two. it will be dry by later this afternoon. temperatures are not budging and still at 55 with a gusty wind. temperatures dropped into the 40s in the shenandoah valley. near 50 and 60 down towards the northern neck. afternoon temperatures will bounce up and down and the colder drier air is racing in but plenty of strong april sunshine will make for the battle zone. plan on temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. the overall weather impact low to moderate. the only moderate part is the winds. gusting at times. if you are on the way out, have that pocket umbrella here for the next couple of hours. later on a wind breaker and sunglasses as the weather improves. the sun is down at 7:34.
