apartment by a man with a knife. this is a picture of the suspect, but police don't have his name. they were able to send us this photo. he got into the home just after midnight. he allegedly assaulted one of the people and took the woman with him. the suspect and the victim do know each other. they don't believe he is a threat to the public, but possibly armed. they want you to reach out if you see these two. >> we are following a developing story in anne arundel county. we know the identity of the man arrested in connection with the shooting of a police officer. late last night police arrested him. he is charged with several crimes including attempted murder. he is being held without bond. he shot a police officer and this happened early friday morning at a convenience store on east college parkway. that officer remains in critical

condition following several surgeries. >> a deadly crime spree. according to court documents, ronald anderson was set to appear in court and thursday night he kidnapped his girlfriend killed a guard at the bureau and shot at police. we have the chaotic moments. >> jeanette was scared when he heart police banging on her neighbor's door. >> i couldn't go to sleep. i was afraid of what was going on. >> she had no clue he was in critical condition after police say he got into a shootout with officers on h street. police say anderson kidnapped his girlfriend in northwest d.c. and drove her to the u.s. census bureau where he shot and killed a security guard. he left and they spotted him and say he started shooting at officers. police chased him to h street northeast.

one person was killed in a family brawl with police officers in arizona. the fight was caught on camera. we have a warning. this video is disturbing. this is the scene at a wal-mart parking lot north of phoenix. police trying to get the situation under control. they used batons and pepper spray and even tazers. the family fought with officers and a worker at wal-mart. they say that one family member tried to grab gun and that's when shots were fired. family member was shot and killed. the shooting was justified they said because the family member struggled with the officer's gun. they arrested five people and one officer did walk away hurt.

>> this morning road crews have a big job on their hands. they have to remove a giant boulder in the little of a highway and weighs 1500 tons and tumbled on to a highway near the kentucky boulder. a pickup truck ran into it but the driver is okay. that area is prone to rock slides and it will take most of the weekend to get it out of there. >> you can hear the screams when the school bus hits the guardrail. it rolls over on the side and eventually lands in the grass. it happened on wednesday and four students suffered serious injuries and the bus driver broke her leg. they are all expected to be okay and investigators are trying to figure out what caused the driver to lose control. >> a deadly tornado wipes a town off the map. you will hear from survivors in
