ooler air. >> we want to get to this story. in montgomery county police and volunteers getting ready to start another search. >> they are searching for two toddlers who have been missing for two years. live in germantown where they are wondering where the hoggle children could be. darrick. >> well good morning. indeed they are. any minute now we're expecting a massive effort to get under way to find two-year-old jacob and three-year-old sarah hoggle. they have been missing since september 7th. their mother catherine hoggle went missing at the same time. now, she turned up a short time later without the children. however, she hasn't been able to tell them anything other than they are safe. so a massive search ensued immediately after that on weekends and periodically right after that there have been massive efforts like this volunteer and police. this will be an official police effort. capital

catherine hoggle you said psychiatric care. police pursuing murder charges. they are asking folks in the clarksburg areas to check their property to see if they find anything unusual that would lead to a break in the case. fairfax, loudoun county canine volunteers and professionals from as far away as pennsylvania participating in this effort today. we hear more about what their goal is from officer nicole gomaard. >> our goal is to find hoggle children. we want to bring closure to that end of the case. that is why we're doing another search today. this is one of several dozen we have done since the children were last seen september 7th and catherine hoggle taken into custody september 12. >> so if you are in the area montgomery county and you see a massive police presence this

george's county. two men are now behind wars. police also reopened 8th street where the barricade situation began. last night laurel police say a man barricaded himself inside an apartment. this on 8th street. police say the suspect may have fired shots in that area. new this morning, there is a new car recall to let you know about. bmw is now recalling more than 90,000 of its mini cooper's. the problem is the airbag sensor. bmw says it will replace defective sensor that may prevent front passenger seat airbag from deploying during the crash. the recall applies to mini cooper mini cooper s cars that were made between 2005 to 2008. >> here are the stories you need to know about coming up in the week ahead. tomorrow business leaders from montgomery and prince george's county will put out a new study to support the purple line. the light rail line would connect new carrollton and bethesda. in boston runners take part

this morning. it launched its new line at 3:00 a.m. lilly pulitzer for target. in minutes it crashed. a lot of people got this and they saw it a couple hours. this is a message saying they are working on some improvements. as for the line itself most of the pieces were sold out within the first hour. lilly pulitzer for target trending on facebook and twitter. we received a lot of tweets from people saying long lines, pushing them out of the way. most of the main things including home goods sold out. another sign the system might be overwhelmed, i'm not saying anybody at the studio bought anything they are not sending confirmation e-mails. it looks like your order goes through but not getting a confirmation. maybe don't expect that something to follow up on. tuss. >> you seem to know a lot about that online experience. just head to the store, just go there. what started as an idea in a third grade classroom captured

more about a developing story out of prince george's story. two children were hurt in a house fire in clinton, maryland. five people in the house when it caught fire this morning on small drive. the adults were able to get out but firefighters had to rescue a 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. all five people are in the hospital right now. >> that's a fight at a circus. to people arrested after an animal rights activist jumped and punched. they are there because they say the circus miss treats their animal. the fight started when demonstrators tried to take their protest inside. >> miami beach put me in a choke hold at a point where i couldn't even breathe. >> they hit me with a mega phone

in the face and started scratching my face. it's unfortunate. >> that was a protesters. the circus ringleader you heard from there, you can see people on both sides were hurt including some clowns apparently. defense attorneys for robert bates pushing back on a "tulsa world" report that his training records were falsified. the 73-year-old volunteer sheriff's department charged with manslaughter in the fatal shooting of unarmed suspect in oklahoma. yesterday his attorneys released 64 pages of documents and seemed to indicate he was proficient in firearms and dozens of other training courses. bates says he mistakenly pulled out a handgun rather than a stun gun when he fatally shot this man, eric harris earlier this morning. we're getting a lot of huge reaction to this video this morning. if you haven't seen it you've got to take a look at it. it shows a police officer holding a gun and not shooting this man who was believed to kill two people. stephanie gosk tells us why he held back and the praise he's getting today.

happened around 8:00 last night at a fraternity and sorority cookout. our philadelphia affiliate, we checked and they said probably about 1,000 people at that event. the shooting reportedly happened after a fight broke out. at this point still unclear if any of the victims were students. as of last night, there have been no arrests. this morning family and friends remembering university of washington mary washington student, who police say was murdered. news 4's darcy spencer shows how classmates are honoring grace mann. >> on the campus of university of mary washington independent fredericksburg students placed flowers on a statue creating their own memorial. it's where they gathered for a moment of silence to remember a student who was allegedly killed by her own roommate not far from campus. students asked the media to leave so they could mourn in private. >> everyone was devastated it happened. >> the 20-year-old junior was found unconscious by two other

roommates in the home around 3:00 in the afternoon on friday. one performed cpr. the alleged killer was stem there. authorities say he ran around before police arrived. he is also a mary washington student. he was found about two and a half hours later near riverside first church. >> it's really difficult because we don't know what's going on in someone's life and what they might do. it's honestly a tough issue. >> mann is from falls church, a history and american studies major. the university's task force on sexual assault and a member of student government association. one day she hoped to become a lawyer and fight against injustice. >> it's really unfortunate that he had to take it out on that girl. >> reporter: so far police have not yet revealed what the motive may have been for the killing or how exactly this college student died. the suspect, again, her roommate being held without bond at rappahannock regional jail. in fredericksburg, darcy

a new national campaign to encourage student athletes to finish school is now folk youing on the university of virginia. fan pay.org launched an online campaign to motivate college athletes to finish their degree. the website raises money but only awards funds to them after they graduate. fan pay says only 44% of uva men's basketball team earns degree. the website says plans are actually getting cut short at uva because of ncaa bylaw proibtding athletes from profiting from their personal brand. >> this week's wednesday child has had a pretty disappointing start to his life. he was adopted as a toddler but the adoptive mother passed away a few years ago and sadly ended up back in the foster system. he celebrated his 12th birthday recently. we went to chow down on his favorite food burritos. >> wow, this looks like your kind of place.
