now a story in baltimore. several people arrested overnight violated citywide curfew. our cameras capturing this. police arresting this man. protester started throwing bottles and officers sprayed the crowd with pepper spray. this man got hit with pepper spray and officers carried him to a police wagon. a new page in ball, prayer and peace that is what the governor is asking for today. derrick ward live in baltimore where the governor is starting the day at church with community members. talking about videos there, derrick, some tough parts of last night overnight last night leading into this morning. what is the feeling out there where you are. >> this is the process undergone or the city has to go through.

>> a relatively small group arrested for these curfew violations. you build that sort of thing into the curfew. that's why they are putting police out there in the first place. about an hour and 45 minutes, he will be at the catholic church in baltimore. you see a viable structure here but down the street a place in waiting. that's at the heart of everything going on. he's praying for healing. this comes about a week, tomorrow after there was an eruption. the healing began immediately after that. monday when the riots occurred as word of the death of freddie gray came out, the fact officers were identified. you've had rallies since then. they have been peaceful and

man they say shot the gun. >> when students return to howard high school tomorrow one of their classmates will not be there. he was killed in a car crash old frequent ricks road. he veered off and flipped over. last night students organized a vigil. police looking for a man they say sexually assault add woman in d.c. police say the attack happened early saturday morning. they say a woman walking on massachusetts avenue a little before 1:00 in the morning. she told officers a man attacked her and tried to rape her there. if you know anything about what happened, call d.c. police. right now work crews cleaning up that rubble at the watergate hotel. a structure is still shut down because of that parking garage that collapsed a few days ago. today rescue crews from d.c. will be working to find out if anyone died. they say they have to make sure nothing else collapses before they begin a detailed search for

oh, yeah. a royal princess. london goes pink to celebrate the birth of the newest member of the lowest family. duchess of cambridge gave birth to a daughter. the new parents took their bundle of joy home a few hours after the birth. the princess is fourth in line to the thrown, in line behind her brother, george her father and grandfather. we're still waiting to learn the little royal's name. there's lots of bets on that. the city will light up in pink tonight. tomorrow westminster abbey will ring the bell in honor of her little royal heines. we're excited to know are you excited about the little princess? you can text this number or take

>> reporter: she posted an ad on only the breast.com, websites cropping up helping women sell or donate their breast milk. priced $2.50 an ounce with discount for local buyers. >> i don't drink alcohol. i don't smoke. i eat very healthy. i'm sure my milk is on the top shelf body. >> i would recommend you do not buy milk from strangers. >> a lacktation consultant at the breastfeeding center of greater washington. she says buying milk on the internet is risky. you don't know what the donner mother is putting into her body. substances like drugs and alcohol can easily be transmitted into breast milk even more alarming research out last month found 10% of milk samples purchased online contain cow's milk meaning human milk had been diluted. a separate study from 2013 found majority of samples tested caused disease causing bacteria.

>> how do you know what it is? there are no regulations. >> she says instead mothers in need should try breast milk banks where milk is pasturized to make sure it's safe. trouble is it's difficult to access that. only babies born prematurely or those that can get a doctor's note qualify. >> i looked if he milk bank and they were mostly for babies. with my daughter being adopted -- >> she adopted baby zoe last year. since she couldn't produce breast milk herself she went only to sites like this one human milk for human babies. she was looking for a donner who would give her milk for free. >> if you buy it online it has the ability to possibly be tampered with. >> after screening potential donors, she found a few that could supply her with enough milk to keep her baby happy and healthy.

airport. 65 dulles leesburg up to 70 degrees already. 69 in annapolis and 64 in huntington huntington. the avon walk in place girls run 5k run at 10:00 this morning. temperatures today going to be in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees for most of the day. no weather slowdowns for today or for tomorrow. there's a little chance for slowdowns coming our way as we head towards tuesday and wednesday afternoon, all part of a weather system passing well to our north. here is the area of low pressure now in eastern iowa. that's going across northern parts of great lakes and cool front that's going to trail down behind it will bring us a slight chance for showers as wets into tuesday and wednesday afternoon in the metro. but for today and for tomorrow, the only little tiny hint of a rain chance today and tomorrow is west of the blue ridge out in the mountains of west virginia. here is the way it looks on future weather forecast model.

the top stories this morning. in prince george's, a man died in a motorcycle crash, branch avenue and brandywine last night. maryland state police say anthony armstrong was driving the motorcycle north when a woman turning hit him. we're working right now to find out the condition of three people. the shooting happened on kenilworth near 48th street. police are looking for someone in a gold sedan. right now rescue crews are trying to find out if anyone died in the collapse at the watergate hotel. they are cleaning up the mess when the parking garage pan caked a few days ago. we're looking at 9:30 on the dot. time to head outside and check in with storm team meteorologist

gray was hurt while in police custody and later died. maryland governor hogan will attend church in baltimore and he's asking for a day of peace and prayer following last week's violence. nbc reports how people are turning tragedy into hope. >> reporter: protests to street parties. in the neighborhood that less than a week ago saw violence and looting. this weekend dancing replachd -- replaced the demonstrations. >>ening there's a lot of hope that in peace we can seek justice. >> early saturday hundreds poured into the streets of baltimore making their way to city hall. >> justice is about fair dealing. doesn't have nothing to do with black, white, asian or latino. >> victory rally, some say it's too early to celebrate. >> we started this movement for freddie gray asking for justice. guess what, we haven't gotten it yet but the ball is rolling. >> rolling after the city's

top prosecutor announced charges for the six police officers involved in freddie gray's arrest 20 days ago. >> we have probable cause to file criminal charges. >> of the six officers, the most -- the van driver faces the most serious, second degree murder. four are also charged with involuntary manslaughter three with false imprisonment and all accused of assault and misconduct. saturday's rally a peaceful demonstration. as curfew time passed, isolated scuffles with police. nbc news. social media helped baltimore police catch up for in the cvs fire 22-year-old bailey was charged with reckless endangerment. he cut the fire hose firefighters were using to put the fire out. the fire started after rioters looted the story in west baltimore and the hose lost pressure and firefighters had to pull back letting that building burn. of course this story has a lot of moving parts.

we're following latest developments on all of our platforms. be sure to download nbc washington app to find out when that citywide curfew will be lifted. new developments about the earthquake that shook nepal last week. rescuers say they found three more survivors. the death toll at more than 7,000 people and 14000 more hurt in the quake. they are banning big planes from the country's only interpret airport. the runway there is deteriorating. that will mean fewer supplies coming into the country even as u.n. says nepal will need more aid. a 10-year-old boy back home. jameson pollard went missing yesterday. virginia state police thought the boy was in danger. we're still working to find out where he was and where he was found and why they would report him missing. a chicago man accused of setting fire to air traffic control facility is facing federal charges. prosecutors say brian howard cut cable and set fire to facility's basement back in september.

the fire forced chicago o'hare and midway airports to shut down. you might recall that caused thousands of flight cancellations including here in our area. howard faces 30 years in prison if convicted. the owners of good stuff eatery in georgetown say it will be a few dayan open again. they are cleaning up from a fire right now. fire broke out yesterday on m street northwest. in this video you can see some of the windows are boarded up. told the fire caused some damage to the kitchen and sprinkler system soaked other parts of the building. that's going to have to be repaired. >> two stations closed on metro today. if you do ride the yellow line you can not use huntington or eisenhower station you have to take the metro shuttle bus to get there instead. red, orange and green lines delayed. trains running one every 15 minutes on those lines. for those of you who drive to work, take agood look five new cameras across d.c.

a new religious freedom law in oklahoma protects right of clergy to refuse service. the bill says members of the clergy cannot be forced to perform marriages that violate their religious belief. the governor says the bill is an important measure to protect the constitutional and religious rights of oklahoma. the law hasn't caused any kind of backlash yet. >> the family of a doctor who died of ebola in africa is starting a foundation to honor him. dr. kahn's family lived in prince george's county. they held a ceremony to remember him in new carrollton last night. disrchlt kahn infected while helping patients in sierra leone. the family said they want the kahn foundation to help others who died like him.

we are working for you and your baby's health this morning in michigan, a new device could save infants' lives. erica edwards shows us how they are using 3d printing technology to help children breathe. >> this sound of baby garrett breathing pure bliss for his parents. >> yes. we love hearing him breathing. >> garrett was born with a rare condition that caused his airway to collapse. he was suffocating and had to be kept heavily sedated and on ventilators. >> these were the sickes children i've seen in my life. >> the doctor and his team in michigan developed a way to help garrett and two other babies who had the same condition.

public and may have clinical trials scheduled next. got another remarkable one here. a 13-year-old maryland girl running again thanks to prosthetics company that helps amputees move again. the company held mobility clinic at george washington university yesterday. 13-year-old cancer survivor amanda merrill got to try out her new leg. the company designed her leg especially for high-impact activity. she says now she can play sports just like everyone else. the company holds these mobility clinics all around the country to provide sports prosthetics to amputees. >> i can play soccer and do things i couldn't do. >> yesterday was the first time she tried it. to come out here and run the way she did, it's very impressive. >> the company holds mobile clinics around the country. they provide sports prosthetics to amp toous tease.
