worry about storms this morning. hey there, chuck. >> good morning. a very quiet start this morning. a couple sprinkles first thing. by and large the main focus is late this afternoon into the evening when a possibility of really heavy rain comes our way. flash flood watches have been posted for the news 4 nation. the only places not included are across southern most maryland. d.c. metro is including, panhandle of west virginia northern maryland as well. the heaviest rain during the evening hours. we could get one to two inches of rain per hour. localized flash flooding is a possibility. temperatures right now are mostly in the mid to upper 70s. it will be a warm one today. temperatures getting into the upper 80s before the rain moves in. >> thank you so much, chuck.

we are following a developing story in new york. state police are looking into the possible sightings of two prisoners who escaped. witnesses saw two men walking near a rail yard about five and a half hours southwest of where matt and sweat escaped. the next day, witnesses saw two men walking along a road a few miles from the new york/pennsylvania border. they escaped two weeks ago. officers have been placed on leave as part of the investigation. ♪ there's neighbors and friends continuing to pay their resprekts in charleston after nine lives were lost at a church. mourners visited a vigil. they hugged and prayed for the families of the victims. the city of charleston continues to mourn the loss of life,

section of beliefs and faith. they say the tragedy presents an opportunity against hate. this morning there is extra security at the most prominent ame church following a bomb threat. an anonymous caller said a bomb was planted last night. nothing was found. the terrorism task force is still investigating. a spokesperson says worship will go on as normal this weekend. the church planned some increased security after the attack in charleston. greenbelt police need your help finding this man. he's suspected of sex charges. the crimes happened inside bathrooms this past week. jackie bensen reports. >> reporter: police believe these images show the man responsible for two frightening crimes. the latest at beltway plaza.

they were inside the bathroom when a man came in and touched her before she was able to yell for help. >> the child was not unaccompanied. the mother did nothing wrong. the child was 6 years old and waiting for the mother to be done. at that point, the suspect entered the restroom, assaulted the child, then left. >> reporter: these security camera images were recorded last friday at a cvs pharmacy after a 6-year-old girl was groped. >> physically, very close at the retail store. they came and exited the bathroom. >> reporter: shoppers we spoke to were unaware of the crime. >> this world is crazy. that's why a lot of moms have to watch people. don't let them walk behind you. >> that's unfortunate, very unfortunate, but i mean -- >> jackie bensen with that

report. we want to show you another look at the suspect. if you recognize him, call greenbelt police. police in charles county are trying to figure out why a women came home to find her husband dead and her baby unconscious. a neighbor called 911 after they heard her screaming. it appears the father may have shot himself. chopper 4 flew over their home. neighbors performed cpr on the baby. it's not clear what happened to the baby who remains in critical condition. d.c. police are moving on to the next phase of the body camera program. cathy lanier says 400 cameras will be distributed in the fifth and seventh district by the end of the month. by the end of next year officers in every district will have the cameras. the program has already given

death. police say 16-year-old turner raped his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend outside the montgomery county circuit court building last week. security guards could see the arrest live on security camera. his ex-girlfriend stopped breathing while being taken to the hospital, then later died. >> we need to determine if there was a pre-existing condition. >> turner expected to have sex with the woman during their date and told police he forced himself on her. general motors recalling 243,000 pontiac vibes because of the air bag. it affected 2003 to 2007 models. it comes after takata agreed to double the size of the air bag inflater recall. takata air bags have been blamed

near the capital gymnastics area. he bound her then raped her. he then left her there and took off. police have arrested a 22-year-old man for shooting a 15-year-old boy. the boy was shot and critically injured after he stepped off a bus near 28th and nailer road in southeast tuesday night. police arrested derek decure, thanks to tips and information from the community. president obama is praising relatives of the victims in charleston as they forgive the man accused in the killing. obama called it an expression of faith that reflects the goodness of the american people. the president spoke from san francisco yesterday where he prepared to speak at the u.s. mayor's convention. >> so, i refuse to act as if this is the new normal or to pretend that it's simply sufficient to grieve and that any mention of us doing
