police officer known to his community as g.i. joe. chris lawrence here now with more from the funeral today. chris? >> reporter: yeah, advance, it is not just police from his community fox lake, illinois, these are officers from around the country. they all came to his hometown to say goodbye to lieutenant joe gliniewicz who was shot and killed last week while he was chasing three suspects on foot. tonight, he leaves behind a wife and four sons. >> we all knew joe as a hero. but now, the nation knows he is a hero. we are gliniewicz strong. i love you, brother. > reporter: i mean, you could tell, his brother's a cop, too. it was hard for him to get through what he had to same officers lined up outside antioch high school as his casket arrived this morning. they remembered gliniewicz as a family man, a hard

investigators say they haven't figured out the cause but they have found a suspicious clue. news4's scott mcfar lan went ñ to west virginia today hes found the mistry growing and so is the cost of this fire. >> reporter: this is where the fire started, the rear deck of this restaurant in the heart of historic harpers ferry. the fire destroyed the restaurant and eight other businesses in a tiny down that relies on tourist. despite six weeks of collecting sample, the fire marshal says the cause remains undetermine bud tells news4 they have learned money is missing from that restaurant and still unaccounted for. them investigate why. cindy john's gift shop is the only of the nine destroyed business to reopen, a block away. she says she has long suspected this fire might have been deliberately set. >> from the very first minute that it broke ylñout, it's alwa been suspicious. i can't dwell on it. i can't get upset about it. only have so much energy and i

from what san increasingly costly and mysterious fire. scott macfarlane, news4. a mississippi state trooper. mike powers is a businessman from tennessee. they met briefly on the side of the road last week because powers was speeding. the trooper pulled him over. by the time they parted, trooper ails decided to void the $200 ticket he had just handed over. here is why powers asked trooper ails and his colleagues were doing after the recent violence against police officers all over the country. when ails acknowledged it has a prayer bracelet and hoped it would help keep him safe. trooper ails says he was shocked that somebody would be so kind after he just got aw?ñ9 ticket. so he voided the ticket. powers donated the $200 to a
