just extend the current funding to december 11th. they're giving themselves another three months to try to work this out. one of the big issues is still planned parenthood funding that conservatives want to strip out of this budget. the presidents of planned parenthood got a five hour drilling. they aren't happy about them getting fundsing because of the video that came out. they have negotiation to do. they have a leadership change coming up. tracie potts live on capitol hill for us. thank you, tracie. there's an eighth indictment into the shadow campaign. a federal grand jury today indicted -- or yesterday indicted d.c. bus man reuben charles on two counts of failing to file his federal income taxes. he's seen her shortly after gray's election.

charles was a major fund-raiser for the campaign and at one point was in line to be gray's chief of staff. gray has not been charged and has denied any wrongdoing. we all know parking in d.c. can be tough and parking where you shouldn't can really cost you. i know that firsthand. now the d.c. council says it is considering an exception for firefighters and first responders. it's so tough to find a good spot near the downtown station some firefighters put signs on their windshields pleading to are a break. council members say they are planning on allowing them a special permit parking. penalties for drunk drivers involved in deadly crashes in maryland will go up starting tomorrow. dui offenders with blood alcohol levels of .08 or higher will have 6 months for the first

offense and 1 year for the second. the driver will lose their license completely if it's a second offense. today you can be part of a ceremony to mark the start of national fallen firefighters weekend. they plan to recognize 87 firefighters by presenting american flags from the u.s. capitol to a national u.s. fallen firefighters foundation. taking a look at the capitol right now. the public is invited to a ceremony at 2:00 this afternoon. a motorcade directly after the ceremony will travel along the beltway and i-270 and then take i-70 north to frederick. traffic will be impacted. redskins are about to get a big settlement from minneapolis. they're going to pay the team $237,000 for this bus crash. two team buses collided on an exit ramp. a minneapolis police car lost control.
