"news4" was there as first responders tried to save the victim. this happened yesterday on g street. we're told 51-year-old nathanial moody was stabbed at least four times. today family and friends will gather to remember an 80-year-old man found dead in prince george's county. a funeral service will be held for luben phipps. he was found after wandering away from an assisted li eed li facility. he suffered from dementia.

15 before the hour. we want to show you a map here. it shows the reason the people who live in the navy yard capitol hill area are nervous this morning. each circling you see there marks the spot where armed robbers attacked neighbors wednesday night. some neighbors tell "news4" they're so nervous, they're ready to use. police haven't released who might be responsible. one man said three men approached him with a gun and then robbed him. neighbors say people in the community are on edge.

out on the campaign trail today. she'll be alexandria with terry mccollough. it's now 4:48. closing arguments may soon come next wednesday in the trial of accused killer charles severance. he's accused of killing three prominent alexandria residents in over ten years. yesterday his brother ben ser severance took the stand. he said they departed company in 2001 when he tried to get him some mental health. they also questioned several of his friends on a key piece of prosecution video evidence. police need your help tracking down two men they say shot and robbed a teen in charles county. take a good look at the sketch here. sheriff's dep pults released it last night. they say two weeks ago this man and another man shot a 17-year-old in the leg on a

waldorf trail and then took his bike. that teen was able to wave down a school bus driver who called for help. an update now to this deadly house fire. the parents of the two victims of this row house fire in dupont circle are now suing the homeowner for negligence and wrongful death. nina bermans and michael mick glof lynn died. their parents are seek $10 million per family. they say the home had no working smoke detectors and no fire extinguishers and the windows didn't open. a disturbing story. a wheelchair-bound man was left alone on a flight. he waited nearly half an hour after everyone else deplaned for someone to bring an aisle chair. he said he was frustrated and uncomfortable and needed to use the bathroom. when no one showed, he crawled his way out of the plane.

pictures police say he had on his phone. the secret service is being warned that overworking its employees is putting national security at risk. they found employees sleeping on the job including one incident at the white house. they ble fatigue from travel, overtime shifts, and long hours. one record shows an agent worked 60 hours of overtime before he was caught sleeping. >> traffic is down 10% and they're not able to fill that void. people are leaving the secret service. oversight committee chair jason chaffetz says the agency doesn't agree with the reports saying that the two agents had sufficient days off. 4:51 right now. we turn to meteorologist chuck bell and talk about this little cooldown. you knew it was coming. >> but not crazy cold here.

tennessee at 4:58. at least one person is dead after an yoifr night shooting at tennessee state university. we're gathering information on this. we'll bring you an update in just a few minutes. also we're keeping a close eye on the weather as a cooldown is heading our way. chuck bell is putting together your headlines and the forecast for where you live at 5:01. this new video of a prince george's county school bus driver is upsetting parents. in it you can see the driver texting at the wheel. the bus takes kids to jason madison middle school in upper marlboro every day and some of the children says the driver texts while on the ride home. the student took photos but it wasn't clear whether the bus was moving and then one recorded this angle from behind the driver's seat. the parents took it to the district and the driver is still on the job. >> we don't expounded on what we're doing with a particular

employee. the video shown to us was enough evidence for us to take action. >> prince george's county is also looking at reports that the bus sometimes shows up late to take the kids to school. there's new evidence of a park & ride. commuters showed us a photo of a portable camera set up by police. they're seeing more patrols. four cars had their tires and rims stolen back in may and two cars were hit just last week. d.c. families can stay in temporary city housing thanks to a push from "news4." they forced their families to leave the apartments because of unsafe conditions. they say the building owner ignored 300 code violations. the district put them up in housing. now the problem is the city wouldn't pay for the rooms that
