today. 17-year-old india davis was a senior at osborne high, the other teen found dead, 17-year-old lyle fehr enjer who was a senior at barfield high. police discovered them saturday after their families reported them missing. they were found locked in the minivan, dead at the scene near dale city. police say they had injured but did not give us any details about that. the girl's brother who confirmed the two were in a loin described ferringer as a nice guy, but as you might imagine, this is a shock to a lot of people in this community, and so grief counselors will be at both of the schools the students attended this morning. that's the latest. i'm molette green. back to you. >> thank you, molette. two men arrested for robbing and killing a montgomery man will face a judge.

they're accused of murdering garrett mcclees. police say the three did know each other and the shooting death may be drug-related. today police will be on hand after a shooting plot was foiled. two students are arrested in connection with that alleged plot. investigators say the students planned to call in a bomb threat and shoot students and teachers as they left the high school. we found one is 15, one is 17. they're being hold without bond as a juvenile detention facility and will be in court this week. it was uncovered by chance through postings on a media site. classes will go on at a d.c. school. police say a van smashed into a school. he hid a utility bus and gas

meter before smashing through the front door. police say whemt to the hospital but his injuries are not serious. no one was inside the school or in front of it at the time. they were able to repair it late last night. new video from a capsized boat off of vancouver island in canada. the whale-watching boat sunk. have new cell phone video showing the back of the boat under water. five people dead. right now one person is missing. the coast guard was able to rescue everyone else. that's 21 people. the mayday call came in. but there's no word on what went wrong. was clear calm sunny day. back to you guys. i jumped out and go, no, you're going to wrong way. stop, stapp. >> she accelerated. >> disbelief and a tone of

disgust this morning after a woman crashes into a crowd at an oklahoma state university home coming parade. four have died. 17 are in the hospital,ive of them cy cat condition. they gathered for a vigil last night. police believe 25-year-old adacia chamberses with drunk or on drugs. her attorney said she suffered from mental illness and suffered sleeping. her attorney plans to ask for a mental evaluation. a hit-and-run in montgomery county is under investigaion. it happened on mitchell street in kensington last night. police say the drivers and the victi victims knew each other. the victim then got out of his screen and hi hit him with his

car. he was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. 6:06 now. mayor muriel bowser will celebrate the grand opening of the new wing of udc community college. there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 this morning. the expansion allows for 1,100 more students and 13 more labs and classrooms. will also allow for more work force training programs to help get residents back to work. all right. the redskins head into the buy week with an incredible comeback win against tampa bay. hope you saw this. it was incredible. never in franchise history have they overcome a deficit like this. they were down 24 points to 0 at the half. a lot of fans gave up. they came pack to win the game, 31-30 against the bucs. kick was pretty excited.

a developing story this morning out of detroit. the union workers will not go on

strike. the uaw said local union leaders will meet wednesday to vote on the agreement. this contract covers nearly 53,000 workers am a strike could still happen since the united autoworkers union has not yet reached an agreement with ford. residents in houston still dealing with massive flooding. several water rescues took place overnight. cars quickly became submerged trying to drive below an overpass. they also rescued two homeless men sleeping under a bridge. several cars and trucks went under water. over the past 24 hours a record rain fall, in some places over a foot of rain. >> it's feeling more like fall every day here and i like it that way. >> uh-huh, that's right. this morning is no exception. we check in with the meteorologist tom kierein. he's live on the weather deck. good morning. >> you need a warm coat and it's

him with a gun. transit officers arrested rondez tibbs as he stopped along the green line. two metro employees pinned him down. police say he robbed them earlier in the day at the anacostia station. another look. this shows officials searching the metro car after officers cuffed him. he faces armed robbery and gun charges. closing arguments could come this week in the trial of the serial killer charles severance. he's accused of killing three prominent residents over ten years. they claim his murderous writing was a product of his mental health and not a true desire to kill. welcome back at 6:40. we're following a developing story this week. police in north carolina searching for a shooter near a college campus. north carolina central university in durham was on lockdown for about 40 minutes last night after reports of gunfire. one student was hurt in that shooting but not seriously. the all clear was given just before mind. at one point the school tweeted about an active shooter on campus, but police had not located a suspected shooter. former president jimmy
