>> it looks like it joust drove straight into the house. we just learned the passenger and driver have died. >> reporter: we were first at the scene. the driver died in the car and the passenger was transported to the hospital where he died. there were two men in the car. worth mentioning, right over there, police are over there and firefighters. they're trying to make sure that this home does not collapse when they remove the car from the living room. they're trying to stabilize and make this building sturdy. police are helping the family that lives in the house. imagine how they must feel. they just came home about 15 minutes ago and saw the car in their living room. they say they were at church and the kids play in the house. this started at 8:00. a woman who witness what was happened tell me the car was going at least 80 miles an hour in this section of fairfax

county. the driver lost control, hit a fire hydrant and plowed through brick and grass and it was so powerful the fire hydrant right now is in the house. people in the neighborhood have mixed emotions relieved the family who lives here isn't home. they're sad the two people in the car died. >> i was devastated. my first thought was i hope children is okay in the house. they have small children and one is hearing-impaired. >> they're at church right now. actually, my kids wanted to play with them this afternoon but the kids told them that they couldn't because they were going to church. >> reporter: now police have not released the names of the two people who died in the crash. they have to remove this car behind me, stabilize the bui building to make sure everything is okay. they are assisting the family who lived here. live in alexandria section of fairfax county, shomari stone.

jackie is in southeast d.c. and talked to some frustrated neighbors tonight. >> reporter: jim, the frustration has been building up for a while and tonight it all came out. >> from what we saw happening in the least couple of weeks especially the neighborhood of capitol hill. for me, it was unacceptable and for the neighbors created a lot of frustration and fear. >> reporter: it was the most heavily attended crime meeting in the capitol hill area in recent memories, over 300 people filled the auditoryium at potomac aurmd northeast. eleanor norton holmes was in the audience. residents expressed frustration at a recent series of crimes, two shootings, armed robbery spree and home invasion rape all in the last two weeks. >> my sons want to know what happens. >> police chief cathy lanier told them some new saturation

it shows an arrest on cloud place northeast yesterday. officers say they found a man barefooted and acting erraticly and used batons to get the man to the ground and also seen punching him. it took four officers to get the handcuffs on him. according to polices reports officers said they smelled pcp. police chief lanier says the video may be disturbing but does not mean the officers did anything wrong. >> police work is not pretty. when you see situations officers have to use force, it is not a pleasant video to look at. it is the reality officers sometimes have to use force. the use of force was reported immediately and an investigation is under way. sergeants will begin carrying stun guns as additional option in situations like this. authority in south carolina say there is a thirdj8iz video the fight between the school resource officer and the student. the video shows the student purging the deputy first.

>> now, the department of justice will join the investigation into that violent confrontation. witnesses say the teacher asked the student several times to leave the classroom and she refused. while the student is still seated, the deputy pulls her to the ground and throws her across the floor. the deputy's been suspended for now. the sheriff says he hopes to have the results of his internal investigation within 24 hours. >> what i'm looking at is what our school resource officer did. what was his actions? what did he do? that's where i make my determination, based on that. >> what we all watched on that sha shamefully shocking video is reprehensible. >> neither the deputy nor the student has commented on what happened. a soldier and children's pastor has been convicted of having sex with a teenager. fairfax county police say that 25-year-old julian oaks met the teen at faith fellowship assembly of god near fort belvar

and the teen was a volunteer and said they had consensual sex at fort bell vvor and officers investigated it after the parents saw the images on the phone. one nurse is accused of taking a narcotic hydromore phone and lar raza pam. she was fired refusing to take a drug test and previously resigned from walter reed under similar circumstances. the other nurse accused of taking percocet and another drug. three other nurses are being investigated for possibly stealing drugs. we're getting incredible video into the live desk where a bus calling a college rowing team flipped over on a highway in pennsylvania. right now, 20 students are being checked out at several hospitals

in bethlehem. the suspect drove away and were pursuing him. the suspect died when officers pursuing him flipped over and went into flames. the bus flipped over. traffic was backed up for miles. about 20 students were on that bus, members of the men and women's crew team. they had a mix of back and knee injuries and possible concuss n concussions but all expected to be okay. >> thank you. it was video you see only on news4, students caught their prince george's bus driver te texting behind the wheel. now, they're change their policy. texting while driving was added as a disciplinary offense. before it was overlooked and now ranges from suspension to

actually a police officer in disguise. when the corporal saw a distracted driver he notified fellow police officers farther down the road. police gave out 56 tickets and 22 warnings in just two hours. vdot is wrapping up a $36 million makeover on a stretch of route 7 west of town. about 70,000 vehicles pass through this area everyday. some upgrades include a truck lane, roundabouts at the route 9 interchange and improvements to the loudoun trail. loudoun is growing by 33 people everyday. paying tolls on i-66, virginia's commonwealth transportation board approved the concept today. final designs still have to be worked on. two new express toll lanes are expected to be set up in each direction between the beltway

and route 15 in a market. it would let you get around traffic. carpoolers could use the lanes for free. construction slated to begin in 2017. five months after his partner was taken from him a montgomery county police officer has his friend back again. >> chip the canine is back at home. we first told you about him in september he was taken away from fones after biting the officer even though fones wanted to adopt him. he and his friends have been trying to track him down and learned he had been given to the warrior foundation and adopted by a family nine hours from here. >> it has ended a long search for chip to bring him home where he belongs. it's going to be an exciting night tonight to have the entire family and the two dogs back together. >> montgomery county police say they can't discuss the situation because it's a personnel matter.
