welcome back. a by part tan vote in the senate. tracie potts is monitoring it on capitol hill. good morning. >> good morning. it happened about an hour and a half ago. it was a senate vote, 63-35. the house already passed it wednesday. so this two-year budget deal now goes to president obama's desk. it also prevents a historic credit default from happening next week by extending america's credit to march 17 after the

election. obviously not everyone was happy with this. a couple of republicans spoke out against it including ted cruz. he canceled some campaign events to be here to vote for this. we caught him as he was leave. he called this budget deal a disaster. marco rubio who admits 18 of 19 votes in october was criticized for that and was back here when this one passed. what happens next? now we've got the budget deal in place. that's the big framework for spending in this country. however, there are appropriation bills. however, the small picture, the microscope, how each are going to be fujded, they'll be decided at the end of the year. >> tracie potts on capitol hill. thank you. this morning family and friends will gather to remember a florida man who was shot by

police ambushed mohammed washington and killed him. another teen is charge after making threats against his school. the alleged plolt involved brook point high school in stafford. the 15-year-old is charged with threatening to to bomb his school and shoot students. they found rifles locked up in his home but found no evidence of thought out plans. this days after two students were arrested at riverbend. they were charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
