>> reporter: halloween in georgetown is nothing quite like it. i'll have more coming up on news 4. off the top at 11:00 tonight a community is in mourning after a 20-year-old college student center alexandria was shot and killed. joseph boes attended hampton university. somebody gunned him down in norfolk. it was the third deadly shooting this morning, police say. they say the shootings may have been the result of an argument that ended in gunfire. because of the three homicide, norfolk's police chief is asking for an emergency call to action. >> we had two within an hour of one another and a couple which happened a couple of weekends ago. something has to be done. we have to get the community involved in this. we have to be able to respond. >> right now there is no word on any suspects or motives for the shooting. it is all about the

tandem bike died after an suv hit them from behind. it happened just before 3:00 in chesapeake beach. police say the woman behind the wheel had been drinking. they arrested 62-year-old catherine lyon and charged her with dui. the black boxes have been recovered from a russian airliner that crashed in a sinai peninsula killing all 224 people on board. right now it is not clear what caused the metro jet plane to crash this morning. but an egyptian official says that the pilot asked to make an emergency landing shortly before the plane went down. isis claimed responsibility for the crash, but russian officials say the group hasn't provided any evidence and experts doubt they have the capability to take down an airliner. alcohol may have played a factor in a deadly crash early this morning in an run dahl county.

police say a car left the roadway. they say the driver was ejected from the vehicle because they were not wearing their seat belt. one of the students seriously bush burned in the class fire at the high school will be heading to surgery next week. the family of sonia javarris set up the caring bridge page. sonya is doing well but has several serious burns on her arm. one other student is still recovering at med star washington hospital center. the three remaining victims have been released. the fire broke out after an explosion during a chemistry demonstration. starting today you may need to give yourself a little extra time if you use massachusetts of a and a street. it will shift north so there will be lane closures associated with this and big changes on h street eastbound.
