tribute to a couple killed in a murder-suicide. we are live with how loved ones are honoring their memory we'll talk about the relatives of the victims about the devastating loss. a fire crew responding to an emergency needed a rescue team of its own. news 4 at 6:00 starts now. off the top at 6:00 tonight, family and friends are remembering a husband and wife killed in a murder-suicide in prince george's county. news 4's darcy spencer is working on that story and we'll get to her in just a couple of minutes. as a matter of fact, we do have darcy right now. darcy, go ahead. >> reporter: erika, was there a

murder-suicide in kettering one week ago in the early morning hours, and tonight if you take a look behind me you can see dozens and dozens of friends have gathered here for a candlelight vigil. the friends are telling me that they have no idea that there may have been domestic violence in the home and they want to draw attention to that. antoine sullivan killed tonia wilkerson sullivan one week ago here in kettering, and then he took his own life and this was the result of an argument that happened inside the home. tanya sullivan was the president of a women's motorcycle club in maryland and the mother of four children. the youngest is just 3 years old. her friends tell me that they had no idea that she was having any sort of trouble in the home with her husband, and as a matter of fact, they had only been married for a matter of months, and you can see here the number of people who have turned out, they're beginning to gather

now for that vigil. a number of people have turned out here on their motorcycles again to remember this woman. they say she was such a wonderful person. she was a great mother and just a wonderful person here and they don't want to forget her and also again, they want to bring attention to the issue of domestic violence and they're urging women if you find yourself in a situation like that when there is danger in the home and they just ask that you seek help. erika, back to you. >> thank you so very much. >> eight people were injured including four firefighters in a scary crash between a d.c. fire truck and a car. we are still working to learn just how bad those injuries are. the car was totaled. the accident happened as the truck was responding to a fire on ivanhoe street late last night and d.c. fire says one person in the home has to be rescued and another has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries and still not clear what caused the fire.

they loved each other. they loved the environment and they loved to bike, but police say a drunk driver killed lynn rosenbusch and john fauerby. they were on a bike similar to this one saturday afternoon. we spoke to lynn's sister and lynn was so badly knowledge inned she was unrecognizable. catherine lyon was arrested and released on bail pending a court hearing. a woodbridge man went out to walk his dog and instead found a dead body. police arrived at the home on brazil circle and ruled the death a homicide. the male victim had upper body trauma, but wouldn't go into specifics. right now they are still looking for suspects. we are just two days from election day. virginia governor mcauliffe led a get out the vote rallies across the state and gop leaders are urging voters to reject a

church and his name is bishop michael curry. he's the son of an episcopal priest and grew up in buffalo new york. he led the diocese of north carolina for 15 years before being overwhelmingly elected to the church's top post last summer. curry replaces outgoing presiding bishop edwards shory. hbsd of halloween revelers did the right thing last night and soberride provided more than 400 free cab rides to people who may have indulged last night. that's nearly twice the number of people who used the service last halloween. soberride works with local cab companies to make sure folks celebrating with alcohol gets home safely. it picks up in mid-december and lasts through the new year's eve party sglo partie parties. applause and a standing ovation. the church held a special service for officers and emergency personnel. the community expressed gratitude and appreciation for

the russian passenger jet that crashed in egypt yesterday broke up in mid-air. that's according to a russian aviation official who spoke about the crash earlier today. investigators say they believe the plane disintegrated at a high altitude because the plane's fragments were found scattered all over a large area on the ground. it's still not clear what caused the plane to crash, but 224 people died on the metro jet flight which was headed from egypt to st. petersburg. more people could still come

down with e. coli after an outbreak that may have started at chipotle restaurants. the mexican chain closed more than 40 restaurants in the oregon and washington states after 22 people got sick. it is not clear which item on the menu is to blame, but even if people aren't sick now they can still become sek because the disease takes a while to surface. >> we'll know probably more next week if additional cases don't appear, that will be very good. we're hoping that's going to be the case, but at this point it's impossible to say whether the risk is ongoing. >> oregon and washington health officials are investigating the outbreak. the first day of the workweek will also be the coolest. amelia is tracking a november warm-up, though, and she'll tell you what to expect. as a matter of fact, maybe some temperatures in the 70s. pretty nice. a northwest d.c. home with a tragic history goes on the market. i'm derrick ward. i'll

sorts and wait until you see the seven day, and i want to look ahead a little bit and i think this will stand out. on friday, temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and even feeling a little bit humid. yes. talking about humidity still in november. looking ahead to next weekend, unfortunately, there is a chance of showers in the forecast saturday as well as sunday. i want to go back to the sharp cutoff of rain impacting the area with future weather. here we are as we work our way throughout the day and we're noticing rain favoring the areas in maryland and fredericksburg. >> monday, 6:00 a.m., overcast skies greet us when you step out the door as we work our way around the lunchtime hours and notice if you're in washington and montgomery county, you can go outside and have your lunch outdoors and temperatures comfortable for autumn and in calvert and charles counties and notice the cutoff of rain favoring areas south of the district and northern maryland and western maryland and the panhandle of west virginia dry.

we could have limited sunshine right before the sun goes down and sunset time right now at about 5:00 and notice how this rain stays to the south of washington. i'm only giving the d.c. metro area about a 30% chance of showers right now. that's why you want to have the umbrella handy and i think the weather will have a low impact on your monday. temperatures pretty comfortable. right now we're at 64 degrees and winds out of the southwest at 6 miles an hour with cloudy skies and the southwesterly winds and it will keep temperatures from plummeting overnight tonight. a cool 54 degrees and refreshing for autumn. 11:00 a.m. and temperatures in the low 60s and upper 60s if you're in parts of frederick county and montgomery county with more sunshine during the afternoon hours. 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, temperature around 60 degrees. not too bad if you're walk the dog and sunset tomorrow at 5:07. tuesday, a high temperature of 7 is and if you're headed to the

resume quite like frank beamer. 29 years on the sideline at virginia tech and that will come to an end after this season. beamer announced today that he will retire after this year. he currently has the most wins and is the longest tenured active coach in the entire country. started in blacksburg in 1987 and he has 234 victories and he's been to six bcs bowl games and they currently are on a streak to go to 22 straight bowl games. they've won seven conference titles and four in the acc and three in the big east. >> elsewhere in the acc today, the conference has suspended the officiating crew from last night's duke-miami game and this one was absolutely crazy and one of the better finishes you will see. the acc mark walton was down before lattering the ball and the game should have been over. instead, the miami hurricanes with an amazing finish. >> oh, my gosh. after eight laterals, corn elder
