security. out to the deadly plane crash in egypt, the u.s. has now enhanced security at international airports as more evidence indicates a bomb likely brought that airliner down. russia has also suspended all flights to egypt. we've also learned the black box voice record or the plane is working and could offer clues into the moments right before that mid air disaster. nbc's bill neely leads us off tonight. >> reporter: there is some shock here at the russian decision not least among the 50,000 russian tourists who are here at sharm el sheikh. remember, for the past six days, russia has been saying it's too early to say how this crash happened. leave it to the investigators and pouring cold water over the theory that a bomb may have brought down this plane and even in moscow speaks louder than words.

that's not entirely true, but they're chocking it up to semantics. 6:17 pm
different in order to maintain that? >> i think he needs to get through this story, number one. trump, by the way is just piling on, right? he is going -- so that's what he does. he's going to get aggressive. you know that on him, and i think carson's -- one thing he's got to be able to do is he's got to show that he can take a punch, but b, they can sort of stand up to trump. everybody had been laying off of him because his supporters, there's been a joyfulness about his campaign and nobody wants to look bad going after him and everybody said i'm not going after dr. carson. that could change. so it's how he handles being attacked and is he willing to stand up to trump because we've seen walker melted, jeb's melted. >> chuck, this russian plane disaster story seems to get bigger and bigger every day. what are you hearing about that? >> the united states and the brits appear to be -- their intelligence is coming from the
