cooperation ramps up in the fight against isis. today president obama will get a briefing from his national security team overseeing a new search for a man named mohammed abrini. he drove the car that carried key terror suspect salah abdeslam. an update on the numbers. they say they have 162 people in custody in connection with the november 13th attack. new evidence the terror in paris could have been worse. french authorities say they foiled suspected ring leaders plans for another attack on the city just last week. new developments overnight in this russian plane crash. we learned that a russian pilot is safe at a russian base right now. he was one of two pilots who parachuted out of the plane that turkey shot down yesterday. the other pilot died. a russian marine who was part of the rescue mission was also killed but the surviving pilot claims he was able to escape.

turkey says it shot down the russian war plane after repeated warnings that it crossed into air space from syria. we've got new video of the ongoing protests this morning in chicago after a video showing a black teenager being shot to death by a white police officer is released. hundreds at one point filling the streets here and some roads were shut down. now there were some tense moments but most of the protests were peaceful. police are expected to release how many people were arrested later this morning. these protests followed the release of this video by the chicago police showing the death of 17-year-old laquan mcdonald. he was shot 16 times by jason van dyk, the officer charged with murder. stay with news 4. more protests planned for today. angie, 5:05. developing in minneapolis, a night of even bigger protests over the death of jamar clark. he died while in police custody earlier this month.

two nights ago several protestors outside a police station were shot. last night you can see a big crowd came out again. this is in spite of a new call for the protests to end from the minneapolis urban league. clark's funeral is today. it is 5:06. today the pentagon will declassify parts of the investigation into an airstrike that hit a doctors without borders hospital in afghanistan. the investigation blames a series of human and technical errors for that deadly october attack. a computer that may have warned troops the building was a hospital was malfunctioning. today findings could result in court martial proceedings against some u.s. military personnel. right now police in prince gorges county are looking for a brother and sister who are missing. we'll show you their photos here. rosa thomas and james ward are both in their 70s. they were last seen on monday afternoon in landover. they were last seen in a burgundy jeep liberty.

a major developing story in miami where an nfl player was shot overnight. take a look. this is the st. louis rams website. the ramsay they have been in touch with wide receiver stedman bailey. he was in a car with several family members when he was shot in the head. that is according to nfl network. bailey is in critical condition but expected to survive. another relative who was in the driver's seat has life threatening injuries right now. we will not know the names of the jurors in any of the freddie gray murder trials until

heading towards mexico. the winds are 75 miles an hour. the storm may bring heavy downpours across northern mexico. sandra is the 18th named storm of the eastern pacific hurricane season. kitchen fires are still a big problem on thanksgiving day according to consumer product safety commission, they're about 1300 kitchen fires each year on thanksgiving day. that's compared to about 400 on a normal day. safety experts say avoid wearing loose clothing and long sleeves near cook tops and ovens turning pan handles towards the back of the stove also another good safety tip. walking by, don't want to knock a pan over. using a turkey fridayer, do it outside away from the home or have someone else do it. don't forget about your pets this thanksgiving. we know the holidays all about sharing. some of the things that you feed your pets could really make them sick. animals have a hard time with garlic, onions and scallions.

new this morning, another person has died of middle east respiratory syndrome. a man with the virus died in south korea overnight. he was the last patient with mers in south carolina. this spring it infected more than 180 people there in south korea. 38 people have died. virginia's costcos are part of an e. coli scare. if you recently purchased rotisserie chicken salad, it may be contaminated. if you bought it on or before november 20th, don't eat it, throw it away. so far it's connected to cases of food poisoning in seven states including virginia. dozens of people in prince gorges county had thanksgiving dinner hand delivered in a very special way. the dinners were handed out by more than 20 prince gorges county high school students. the students delivered the meals to seniors at the windsor crossing community. this is part of the mentoring program called manhood 101.

support people and provide them with shelter. steven jones appeared at a court hearing. he is accused of shooting four students at nau. one of the students, collin bro, was shot and killed. he was from annapolis. he and two friends were walking from a frat house and they were surrounded by 12 people who threatened to kill him. he acted in self-defense. victims of a theater shooting in colorado want nearly $1 million in restitution. they want james holmes to pay as part of his sentence. holmes was sentenced to life in prison after shooting 12 people and injuring more than 70 in a movie theater in 2012. lawyers for the victims say the money would pay for psychiatric care, medical equipment and lost wages. today we expect an update in the investigation into that airstrike that hit a doctors without borders hospital.

they'll be free for car pools of three or more. other drivers will pay a toll based on demand in hopes of easing congestion. not everybody is convinced this will help. >> now for the first time a single driver can get on at stafford and take it all the way to the district line. >> this simply moves a bottleneck to the bridges and to 14th street, it doesn't solve the problem. >> if the plan gets approved, construction would start in 2017 and last about two years. extra police this holiday weekend hoping to cut down on the number of crashes. virginia state police issued a thanksgiving week challenge. drive to save lives. last year eight people died on the roads in virginia during the holiday week. virginia has already had more traffic deaths in 2015 than had this time last year. just this past week nine people died in crashes on virginia highways. only one was wearing a seat belt.

secretly recording student athletes in a locker room. she was charged after a student found a phone in the locker room. it showed a video of athletes changing. that's according to school officials. towson said it takes the safety of its student athletes very seriously. news over the takata airbag recall. the american employees voiced concerns about misleading test results. they alerted them for more than a decade. at that could the at that said they had nothing to do with the explosion prone airbags that arked such a huge recall. as police departments are under more scrutiny than ever for their use of force, we wanted to know how and when officers are trained to use force. the prince gorges county police department allowed us into their training academy. every officer from recruits to chiefs is required to go through judgment enhancement training. they spend hours in the
