tonight back down to the low 40s. a look at this dry pattern, how long it's going to continue and a warming trend, coming right up. >> thank you so much, tom. a possible threat has been cleared from a u.p.s. facility in san bernardino. the bomb squad was called out this morning to look in a suspicious package addressed to the san bernardino shooters. a driver came back to the facility after realizing theç package was meant for syed farook and tashfeen malik. investigators found out the delivery came from a reputable vendor and was not a threat. police said only clothes were inside. minutes into the attack at the inland regional center, tashfeen malik praised support for an isis leader on facebook. >> a facebook executive said she posted under an alias an cot around when the first 9/11 call was coming in. facebook found the account on thursday. they took it down and gave all the info to police. the fbi has officially declared

the attack a terror investigation. investigators do not believe the two had any direct ties to isis or any other terrorist network. malik was born in stack stan and lived in saudi arabia before moving back to pakistan for pharmacy school. she met syed farook online. got married in mecca. malik arrived in the u.s. last year. farook's sister says she hardly knew her sister-in-law. >> you met her, she's the girl next door, the sweet, innocent kind. the kind that's smiling, that's nice to you. you would never ever guess. >> others say malik was a soft spoken housewife, a woman who wore a veil in public, avoided neighbors and refused to drive. >> with the recent mass shootings in colorado and california, we've seen

it seems the chipotle e. coli scare reached our area. the most recent person to get sick lives in central maryland. that person is one of nine new cases since the initial outbreak all the way out west in washington state. chipotle says it will impose stricter rules for food safety including testing all produce in smaller batches and enhancing training for the handling of food. investigators still don't know which ingredient triggered the outbreak. chipotle says it's unlikely that ingredient is still in the food supply. a new report is raising concerns about drunk driving in the district. a foundation for advancing alcohol responsibility found 62% of d.c. residents don't know the legal limit is 0.08%. 31% of people nationwide only use the number of drinks they've had to determine if it's too much. just 30% of d.c. residents admit to taking a safe ride home after drinking. the survey found two-thirds of millennials say they've intervened and stopped someone

you're watching news 4 today. white's ferry is open this morning after a bit of a scare. yesterday, a broken underwater cable pushed it a few yards downstream. chopper 4 was over the scene in dickerson when it happened. no one was hurt but a tugboat came in to bring the ferry back to shore. there were about a dozen cars on board at the time. new questions over a missing and conflicting evidence in a deadly police shooting. squad car video shows mcdonald veering away from officers before he was shot 16 times. officer jason van dyke is charged with murder. police are also looking into 86 minutes of missing surveillance video from a nearby burger king that include the moments the teen was shot.

happening today, planned parenthood supporters and allies in the district are holding a national day of solidarity. and this all comes after the tragedy in san bernardino, california and last week's horrific shooting at a planned parenthood facility in colorado. the ceremony is happening at all soul's church on harvard street in northwest d.c. the doors will open at 9:30 this morning.ç molette, whenever there's a mass shooting, gun sales tend to go up. this weekend, a big gun show is manassas is renewing calls for changes in gun laws. >> every shooting is somebody's child, somebody's parent, somebody's brother, somebody's friend. we can't become numb to it. >> a mom herself, martina lyons has spent most of her adult life volunteering to prevent gun violence. her solution -- >> we need to change our gun laws, making it much more difficult for dangerous people to get their hands on dangerous weapons. >> reporter: she worries gun
