during the attack at the inland regional center, tashfeen malik phrase e praised support isis leader on facebook. the fbi officially declared the attack a terror investigation. a woman died in this massive house fire in southeast d.c. there blaze broke out just before 3:00 this morning on 5th street. no word yet on what started that fire. we're working to find out the name of the man killed in a fire in prince george's county. a camping trailer went up in flames in clinton. the man's body was found inside the trailer once crews got the fire out. investigators are still looking into how it all started. as soon as we get updates, we'll have it on the nbc washington app. time now for a check on your forecast. we had a frosty start. >> a cold one out there, no

out in the rural areas should be a gorgeous day. enjoy a look at that dry pattern and when even warmer weather moves in. that's coming up in a few minutes. new details this morning after an officer in aberdeen, maryland, was shot in the face. we know police have arrested a second suspect. 26-year-old scott lawrence is charged with attempted homicide. they also found the gun that is believed to be the weapon used in the attack. now, the first suspect, 21-year-old tyler testament is believed to be the gunman. he was captured hours after that attack. the victim in all of this, officer easton, is expected to survive. a montgomery county police officer is fighting for his life, a suspected drunk driver hit him during a traffic stop on thursday night. the officer was out of his cruiser when he was hit by a small suv on rockville pike. he says the 47-year-old was behind the wheel. he has not been charged pending the results of a blood test.

the officer is in critical condition. developing this morning, belgium is asking the ing for help finding two islamic militant suspects they believe are on the run. prosecutors say they're looking for two men who traveled with a key suspect to hungary in september. they say both men used fake belgian i.d.s. both of the names they used have come up in the investigation of the paris attacks. the fwhand wkband th band t when in paris when the gunmen opened fire last month is returning to the city of lights this weekend. billboard is reporting that eagles of death metal will join u2 for the last song during a concert tomorrow. eagles of death metal will also continue its european tour in february. u2 was scheduled to play in paris the night after the attacks but postponed the performance. u2 offered its plane and met with eagles of death metal in the days following the attacks. we're finding out much more about the victims in the san bernardino shooting.

one of the most heartbreaking details, the 14 victims were parents to 22 children. that includes robert adams. we're goingç to show you a picture here of him. he was planning a visit to disneyland next week with his 20-month-old daughter. and the mother of three, bennetta bet-badal who escaped iran at 18 years old to escape extremism. >> she came to have a better life, education, unfortunately it was taken away from her at an early age. >> and the youngest, aurora godoy. 26 years old. the oldest, 60 years old, isaac amanios. he just celebrated a birthday. people of all faiths came together at the muslim community center in silver spring last night to condemn those attacks and pray for the victims. >> i feel like muslims now more than ever, we need to really be engaged with the nonmuslim community particularly. >> when we look in each other's

defibrillators or aeds. for the first time they can also be used on children. the new equipment also includes lucas devices which provide continuous chest compressions. an assistant state medical examiner says freddie çgray's spinal chord was kinked from the injury he suffered while riding in the back of a police van. prosecutors say porter could have prevented gray's death by buckling him into a seat in the van or calling an ambulance at some point during gray's 45-minute trip. allen says the initial injury to gray's spine would have been made worse by any involvement. in virginia two dozen officers and deputies in prince william county head back to the streets with a new understanding about how to deal with mentally ill people. they are the latest graduates of the crisis intervention team training program. northern virginia bureau chef
