all right people not happy about this. starting today you're going have to pay a lot more if you're driving in d.c. very dot is adding and increasing fines. there are eight violations you get a ticket for like failing to yield to a bus or not slowing down as you pass police at a crash. those both cost $500 now. other fines are going up by hundreds as well. for example, you'll have to pay $1,000 instead of $3,000 if you drive 20 miles an hour faster than the speed limit. time for your "weather & traffic on the 1s." how much the weather is going to impact your drive to work.

they convicted holtz claw of both rape and sexual battery. we've got to an alert for parent about this former middle school teacher. you shay have heard about tommy stantzel. he taught at benton middle school from 2013 to 2014. he sent explicit pictures of himself to a young girl through the summer of 2014. a major scare at arkansas state university after an armed man drove onto campus there. police say 47-year-old brad bartelt posted on social media he was homicidal as well as suicidal. he had 12 gallons of gasoline and propane. the campus sounded the alarm to lock the students down. they were able to tame him in custody before any shots were
