home. i saw it across the street. it flew through a garage and landed in a wall. >> it's killed 25 people in five states am mayor in the town of texas also declared a state of emergency but for snow. take a look at some of these pictures. you can see that snow is on the ground there. this is the town of lubbock and it actually is collapsing some buildings in the room and damaging cars as well. there's about half a foot falling there. also in parts of oklahoma, they're getting white stuff. one highway is shut down. some 60,000 people don't have power. aaron. >> over the weekend at least eight people died there. high water swept away their cars in the south central part of the state. roading are now closed because of widespread flooding. communities around st. louis expect more rain today. the governor has declared it a state of emergency. >> the life of taertd, make everybody laugh, joke, laughing.

>> tragedy striked a family at a family get-together days after christmas. a man died after his atv collide in capitol heights last night. his teenage daughter got seriously hurt. illegal to ride atvs on roads. this morning the family has a message about riding atvs on city streets. >> leave those bikes alone. do not wide them where it's illegal to ride stuff, leave them alone. >> prince jormg's county is investigating exactly what led up to the accident. the consumer product safety commission looked at recent deaths involved atvs. 12 people died in november of 2013. two of the victims were younger than 16. the commission says never ride atvs on paved roads. never allow anyone under 16 to ride on them and do not ride as

a passenger. a key player for the washington nationals now facing a scandal this morning. an investigative report by al jazeera tv claims ryan zimmerman took performance-enhancing drugs in 2011. the nationals stating, quote, ryan has unequivocally stated these allegations are false. the learner organization fully backs him. we'll show that it's unfoended, unquote. >> peyton manning also named in that al jazeera report. it claims he used the drugs while recovering from a neck injury in 2011. 8 he says he's disgusted by the accusations. >> it stings me whoever this guy is insinuating i cut corners, broke nfl rules to get healthy. it's a joke a friggin' joke.

bipartisan report on reconsidering mandatory sneps. on the economy they want them to green light the partnership. it aims to compete with china. others include close guantanamo bay. police are looking for a man who robbed a supermarket in bodega. police say the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money from an employee who was closing the store at the time. the store owner says he got away with $20,000 but investigators have not been able to confirm that exact amount. in the new year they can share a new state-of-the-art training facility. the sheriff says the new indoor center will teach officers better de-escalation techniques. the facilities should open in the summer. you are going to start to feel a big difference in the temperatures when you step outside today. chuck will tell us how to plan

5:33 right now. developing now, a main hunte for a man who escaped a jail in pennsylvania. he climbed the fence and escaped into the woods right over the maryland border. d.c. police are searching for the people who shot two people in broad daylight. it happened on sunday afternoon at "v." there's no word on the condition of the second victim. police say he took off in a silver mazda sports car. freddy herndon crashed early sunday morning. police arrested him at the scene. a man, a woman, twoonld children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. man on the run after a shooting in new york is captured in prince george's county. rafael herrera is accused of
