good morning, everyone. i'm molette green live in loudoun county this morning where the sheriff's department has just confirmed that a man and woman are dead in this community. they've died of an apparent murder/suicide. it happened about 9:00 last night. we are in the lands down town center community here on wind meade drive, and deputies came here after a report of a 911 call came in of a report of a suicide. we spoke with two residents who were out this morning walking their dogs. they told me they heard nothing. again, we're in this community where you can see the lands down town center behind us. this is a community of town homes here in this area. no police tape up. all of the investigators have gone from the scene but this incident happened in one of these houses in this community

man, oh, man, it's back to winter. winter headlines. blustery and cold. there's a little chance for light snow coming our way for tomorrow. most likely going to fall between the conservational and the sweepable amounts wrchlt is it all coming from? >> well, the pattern is bringing in this much colder air on a northwest flow down into the lakes now. lake-effect snow showers. eventually that streamer of moisture coming down in combination with a little alberta clipper that comes through tomorrow. that's what's going bring us our chance for snow. not even is going to get it or get it in the way of a serious accumulation either. breezy, cold. winds lay down a little bit tonight, come back down to the south tomorrow. southerly breezes will bring clouds with it as well. we'll be dry through lunchtime tomorrow. watch what happens. that little chance of snow showers coming through.

three radical shooters are still on the loose. that tip comes days after edward archer was arrested for shooting officer jesse hartnett at close range. police say archer pledged his allegiance to isis and claimed to carry out the shooting in the na name of islam. a woman suspected in a string of brazen jewelry robberies has her first court appearance this morning. abigail kemp went on a heist. the fbi believe she's responsible for six robberies in five states since april. at 5:24, a new study is out today. they say fewer american teenagers are smokinging, but second-hand smoke is still a big problem. data from the cc shows nearly half of them encountered second hand smoke in 2013. the surgeon general said there's no safety. the consumer electronic show

multiple injuries but they're not sure what killed her. they discovered her body saturday night. they found no signs of, quote, suspicious injury. today we expect a teacher to be in court over cruelty to a developmentally developed child. he pulled a student out of the classroom last month, squeezing the child so hard it left a mark. he was frustrated with the child because he wouldn't stop talking or go to his next class. lewis no longer has a job at turner elementary school southeast. another case of suspected child abuse goes to court today, this one in prince william county. two former day care workers face more than 100 charges after accusations that they hit children and even stepped on toddlers in their care. both sarah jordan and sara spriggs used to work at the

you may remember bond was called baby dough. her mother has faced accessory charges. she has pled guilty. barbara dawson died of a blood clot in her leg last month. her family says she could have been saved but believes the hospital dumped her because she didn't have insurance. they released new video from a police dash cam where you can hear dawson asking for help just hours before her death. >> leave me alone. i can't even breathe. >> don't lie down. that's not going to stop you from going to jay. >> dawson's family is asking for a federal review of the case. the police chief says they acted appropriately. the hospital is conducted an internal review but doesn't have video of the incident because 13

security cameras all malfunctioned. it's 5:54. at some point in the future, your kids may be riding a school bus with an ad on the side. the virginia general assembly is now considering a measure that would allow school districts to sell that space. this could provide administrator revenue for districts. it says ads for promoting alcohol and gambling would not be involved. uber is cutting prices in january because ridership goes down in the winter months. this is happens in more than 100 cities in the u.s. and canada. uber did not say exactly how much prices are going down gas prices are down again to an average of $2.05. virginia is $1.78. melon, $1.96.
